When Dizzy unwittingly gets involved with a bizarre initiation at Vern's new fraternity, he learns that Lance is not the only one who has to confront the horrifying events predicted in the latest issue of the comic book.

Cally is horrified when she sees in the comic that her new crush, Emmett, will have an accident in his brand new sports car. So on the day of the fall dance, Cally and Dizzy must do everything they can think of to stop Emmett from using his car.

Lance is surprised by how odd Sage has been acting lately, and then she devastates him by hooking up with Vern! What he doesn't know is that a spell has caused an evil version of Sage to take over the real Sage.

Cally, and even Dizzy, become worried about Lance, who has been spending hours and hours playing a new online game. But by using the comic, the others realize that Lance has been playing with his comic alter-ego, Blaze.

The Stone twins have to face two growing problems. First, they must control a crazy party at their home, and second, they must face Vern, who has accidentally found the Dark Oracle comic.

When the comic predicts that he will become a famous rock star, Dizzy enters a TV singing contest, but he has the misfortune of picking up an obsessed fan who won't leave him alone.

Vern's magical skills have advanced to the point that he is going to create his own "familiar", so Cally and Lance try to use clues from the book to locate it before it hatches. Meanwhile, Dizzy is falling in love with Cally's friend Rebecca.

On a camping trip organized by Emmett, the kids start vanishing one by one.

Cally is all alone, babysitting Rebecca's little sisters, but Violet has other plans.

Vern finds a way to take a psychic journey through all the back issues of Dark Oracle, but this allows Omen to escape the comic and return to the real world.

Omen appears to be the hero of the hour, when he prevents Lance from getting sucked into the world of the comic through a mirror.

Cally and the others come to realize that Lance has become trapped inside the comic and Blaze has taken his place in the real world, so they try to work out a deal with Omen to rescue Lance.
