Alerted to a planet size object transmitting a message to Earth, Bach orders Dr Carl Sagan to decode it while he keeps the news from Majestic's directors. And though he's kept in the dark, Albano agrees to ask the captured Gray to shed some light on its contents. Meanwhile, Loengard and Juliet use Dr Timothy Leary to find the San Francisco lab where the Hive has been producing a hallucinogen under the direction of Steele and Kim. And when Kim tosses the drug into John's face, it causes him to see their son aboard a Hive ship.
Dark Skies is set in the 1960s and includes a government employee, John Loengard, and his fiance Kimberly Sayers. John's quest for the truth leads him to Majestic-12, a secret government operation (above all offices and law) dealing with extra-terrestrials. Following fan campaigns for many years, Sony Entertainment made an announcement that Dark Skies would receive a complete series DVD boxset release in October 2007 however, prohibitive music licensing costs meant that they subsequently cancelled the release.
The show has been picked up by the Encore Action Channel, and will air today (April 9) at 7:30am Eastern (Check local listings for time and channel).

This was an X-Files like show, set in the 1960's; there were interesting stories, good villains, and the leads did great jobs. But you still couldn't trust anyone. hide « show »
