A comedian/actor/director/producer, Steinberg first gained attention in the 1960s as a member of the famed Second City comedy troupe, and for his stand-up appearances on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour . He was especially known for his “mad psychiatrist” character, and for coining the phrase, “Boogah, boogah!”
