Quotes

Dawson: I'm sorry you had to see that. (Talking about him making out with Eve)
Joey: Don't be. I think I was meant to. In some weird way it helped me. I mean, seeing you on that stage something inside of me clicked, and for the first time I felt how wrong it would be. I mean we... we really do need to... to move on and to meet new people and to have new relationships. (edit)
Joey: You think every Joey has a Dawson and every Dawson has a Joey?
Dawson: I hope so... for their sake. (edit)
Joey: So we're friends, and then we're a couple, and then friends again, and then we're a couple, so... (Sighs) So what are we now?
Dawson: We're Dawson and Joey. (edit)
Andie: Jen's a cheerleader and Jacks on the football team? Okay, uh, I got sane and everybody else went crazy? (edit)
(Dawson is standing in the aisle looking at the wide variety of condoms)
Male Customer: Yeah... these days (Puts his arm over Dawson's shoulders) you got your ribbed, your non-ribbed, your lubricated, your non-lubricated, your thin, your ultrathin, sheep skin, extra sensitive, nonoxynol-9 and... glow-in-the-dark.
Male Customer 2: Glow in the darks don't work.
Male Customer 1: No kidding?
Male Customer 2: No, you gotta hold 'em up to the light for 20 minutes, who's got time for that?
(Woman customer walks up)
Woman Customer: And if you really want to blow her mind try the brown Betty.
(They all grab a pack and walk away)
Dawson: This is not happening. (edit)

Trivia

add »
Goof: When Pacey and Joey go to the clinic to pick up Andie, they aren't allowed in since visiting hours were over. Joey then hops onto the counter, and distracts the clerk with her talk as Pacey crawls past on the floor to get to Andie's bedroom. That explains how Pacey made it to Andie's bedroom, but what doesn't make sense is how Joey got there. There's no way the clerk would allow her in. (edit)
When Andy, Pacey and Joey are in the auditorium, Andy's pigtails are clearly re-done when she and Pacey talk out in the hallway. (edit)

Allusions

Eve: I'm just a girl, standing in a janitor's closet, asking you to kiss her.

Reference to a quote from the movie Notting Hill: "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her." (edit)
Dawson: (Sigh) Don't ask. She vanished, disappeared, Jon Krakauer-ed into thin air.

Reference to the non fiction book Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mt. Everest Disaster by Jon Krakauer. (edit)
