- The Murder
Guy Sweetman (Only the one!) edit » - Dead in the Water was filmed on location at the Henley Royal Regatta, with the Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave playing a cameo role. Unfortunately, the film crew was less than welcome on the day... Producer Brian True-May commented - "We had a hell of a job filming at the Henley Regatta. They agreed a year in advance and everything was fine. Then, a month before, the chairman decided he didn't want us there. But, very luckily, Steve's house is opposite the finishing line, so we were able to use his back garden. It worked out very well!"Other parts of the episode were shot at the Oxfordshire house of Kevin Maxwell, son of the late Robert Maxwell, a rogue newspaper tycoon. edit »
- Scott (about a cake Barnaby brought): Did Miss B make this?
Barnaby: No, I wouldn't do that to you. edit »
