  • Mason claims to have reaped Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones. edit »
  • Just like the end of season 1, the series finale ends at George's gravesite. edit »
  • George has the very last line in the show: "It's not so bad, being DEAD LIKE ME." She also had the first ever line in the show. edit »
  • The characters' costume choices are significant. Delores dresses like a cat (in fact she has the same kind of fur as Murray), Young George is a ghost (ie. a dead person), Crystal is a Grim Reaper, Joy dresses as a cigarette girl (someone ready to respond to another person's needs), while Roxy and Daisy's costumes take on the other person's character (Roxy becomes a princess and Daisy becomes a cop). George and Reggie want to be nothing but themselves. edit »
  • The fact that Kiffany and Crystal apparently recognize the reapers as themselves already has helped fuel fan speculation that they themselves are reapers or other supernatural beings. edit »
  • In Latin America, 'Haunted' and 'Always' were aired together as a two-hour series finale, as it was in New Zealand. edit »
  • Showtime decided to cancel the show after this episode aired. The reason of their move is still unknown. MGM, who produced the show, tried to sell it to another company, but the show stayed dead. edit »
  • This episode was also titled All Saints. edit »
  • George (V/O): Now that I'm older and… deader… I see that Halloween is amateur night for death. edit »
  • (Flashback: Young George ringing on a door on Halloween and no one opens)
Young George: Trick or treat, damn it! edit »
  • Mason: We're going to play a little Halloween game. Now, I'm going to ask you a question and you're going to answer me. If you get it right, you win a dollar, if you get it wrong, I get all your candy. All right? Question: What original member of the Rolling Stones croaked whilst having a drowning accident?
    Kids: Mick Jagger?
Mason: No, he's kind of alive and still touring.
    Kids: Keith Moon?
Mason: No, that's the fucking Who.
    Kids: Who?
Mason: The Who! It was Brian Jones, now hand over the candy. Now piss off. I partied with him and I reaped him, YES!
Rube: Stealing candy from children. Challenging. edit »
  • Daisy: What exactly are you supposed to be?
Roxy: I'm Roxy, the badass witch of the northwest. edit »
  • (George's last monologue)
George: I always thought I loved Halloween because I got to look behind all those closed doors. But now I see that it's because I was painted with something darker. That I was meant to see the dark... And through the dark. I'm not supposed to be here, but I am. I don't know if I am supposed to watch over them or just haunt them. Either way I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having fun. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to be here, walking through a graveyard on the day after Halloween, on a quiet and beautiful November morning. It's not so bad... being Dead Like Me. edit »
  • Roxy: I'm Roxy, the badass witch of the Northwest.

This refers to the witches in the children's book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum. edit »
  • Rube placing pebbles on Lucy's and Rosie's gravestones alludes to his faith. The origins of this Jewish custom are not known, possibly related to having each mourner pile a stone atop a deceased person to build a funeral cairn in ancient times. Today, it is only practiced when visiting the grave and is a sign of respect that someone has visited. The more pebbles on top, the more visitors the deceased had. edit »
  • Rube: Last Name
Rube is most likely Jewish. His last name is Sofer, which means "Writer" or "Counting" in Hebrew. edit »
