The characters' costume choices are significant. Delores dresses like a cat (in fact she has the same kind of fur as Murray), Young George is a ghost (ie. a dead person), Crystal is a Grim Reaper, Joy dresses as a cigarette girl (someone ready to respond to another person's needs), while Roxy and Daisy's costumes take on the other person's character (Roxy becomes a princess and Daisy becomes a cop). George and Reggie want to be nothing but themselves. edit »
The fact that Kiffany and Crystal apparently recognize the reapers as themselves already has helped fuel fan speculation that they themselves are reapers or other supernatural beings. edit »

In Latin America, 'Haunted' and 'Always' were aired together as a two-hour series finale, as it was in New Zealand. edit »

George: I always thought I loved Halloween because I got to look behind all those closed doors. But now I see that it's because I was painted with something darker. That I was meant to see the dark... And through the dark. I'm not supposed to be here, but I am. I don't know if I am supposed to watch over them or just haunt them. Either way I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having fun. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to be here, walking through a graveyard on the day after Halloween, on a quiet and beautiful November morning. It's not so bad... being Dead Like Me. edit »

Rube placing pebbles on Lucy's and Rosie's gravestones alludes to his faith. The origins of this Jewish custom are not known, possibly related to having each mourner pile a stone atop a deceased person to build a funeral cairn in ancient times. Today, it is only practiced when visiting the grave and is a sign of respect that someone has visited. The more pebbles on top, the more visitors the deceased had. edit »

People are killed by (the rope man)& evryone but george collects their souls because at the end of the epasode he dies and george takes his soul. ...Continue »
