1. Mother and Child Reunion (1)
First aired: 10/14/2001 Production Code: 101Spike's daughter, Emma, is now a teenager and is getting ready to attend Degrassi, along with her friends, Manny and JT. Spike and the old gang of Degrassi are reuniting for the first time in a while. Emma has an online penpal that she e-mails regularly, but she keeps it a secret from her mom. When she suggests meeting him in person to Manny, JT, and Toby they try to convince her its a bad idea. Later that night Emma asks her mom's friend Caitlin about boys and decides that she should meet him.
Meanwhile, the old high school gang is getting together for their 10 reunion. Joey has a daughter named Angela, owns a car lot and his wife died. Lucy is no longer blind and fully recovered from her car crash. Caitlin is engaged to a movie producer named Keith. Joey talks to Caitlin about their past and they decide to be friends. Just the thought of the reunion is enough to make Joey not want to go but with some encouragement from Snake and Lucy he goes after all.

2. Mother and Child Reunion (2)
First aired: 10/14/2001 Production Code: 102Emma is at a hotel waiting for Jordan, an environmentalist whom she met on the internet. After waiting in the hotel lobby, his "teacher" greets Emma and invites her up to his hotel room, saying that the person Emma is supposed to meet should be coming soon. Emma soon discovers that the teacher is the boy she met on the internet. She freaks out and attempts to leave, but he stops her so she scurries into the bathroom. The teacher tells Emma that he is leaving, but it is actually a trick. He has a video camera, and plans on taping himself raping Emma. Toby, JT and Manny dash to the reunion and tell Spike and Snake the situation and how Emma is in danger. They hurry to the hotel room and rescue Emma before anything extremely dangerous happens. In the end, though somewhat disturbed, Emma learns her lesson and the bond between her and Spike grows even closer.
Meanwhile, Joey has his suspicions about Caitlin's fiance Keith. When Joey overhears Keith talking to another woman about breaking it off with Caitlin and running off with her instead Joey confronts him and it turns into a fist fight right in the middle of the speech, given by Cailtin. Keith tells her the truth and she breaks it off with him and her and Joey become even closer. And leave the past where it belongs.

3. Family Politics
First aired: 11/4/2001 Production Code: 103Ashley has set her sights on becoming Degrassi's School President. Toby, spurred on by their awkward new situation as step-siblings, is frustrated by her unchallenged status and convinces JT to run against her. The conflict follows them home.

4. Eye Of The Beholder
First aired: 11/11/2001 Production Code: 104Terri's sure that no guy will ever want her and she wants to skip the school dance. Spinner seems interested in her though, and Ashley and Paige convince her to let them make her over. Paige secretly wants Spinner for herself and plays on Terri's insecurities - ultimately getting Terri drunk and into some overly sexy clothes. Toby and JT pass on the dance in favour of sneaking a glimpse of some internet porn. Emma meets Sean at the dance.

5. Parents' Day

Toby cooks up a scheme to convince his parents that the night is cancelled, but it backfires on him. Why would Ashley get completely dolled up - just for a bunch of old folks? And that Paige seems to be planning to get in the way again...

Jimmy's playing Romeo for the English class assignments - but what if Ashley's not his Juliet? Could it be a problem for Degrassi's longest-running couple? (They've been together 8 whole months!) And why's Toby choosing endangered animals for his Media Immersion project? Could it have anything to do with impressing Emma?

7. Basketball Diaries
First aired: 12/2/2001 Production Code: 107Jimmy desperately wants to make the basketball team. But, surprisingly, it looks like Sean is surpassing him as a possible star player. Adding to Jimmy's pressure is his academic status - he's been given a few warnings since he can't seem to balance school and sports. When he convinces hyperactive Spinner to skip a Ritalin pill and give it to him instead, he plays a great game - but not as a team player, and at a cost. Spinner, meanwhile, wired without his meds, moons the audience.
8. Secrets And Lies
First aired: 12/9/2001 Production Code: 108After a long absence overseas, Ashley's dad is back in town. She's enjoying his company and attention, but something tells her there's a piece of his life that's being kept from her. Under pressure, her mother reveals a long-kept secret. Meanwhile Liberty admits she has an ultimate crush on J.T. He, on the other hand, tries to stay away from Liberty saying that he's gay.

9. Coming Of Age
First aired: 12/16/2001 Production Code: 109Happy Birthday! Jimmy turns 14 this week. Ashley doesn't seem too excited about the big celebration though, because Jimmy is always spending time at her house. Ashley is feeling suffocated and wants to break up with him.
Also Emma learns her mood swings aren't just because of stress, as she deals with PMS for the first time.
10. Rumours And Reputations
First aired: 1/6/2002 Production Code: 110Emma mistakingly starts a rumor about Liberty and Mr. Armstrong. Spinner plots to prove there are bugs in the cafeteria's food--by planting his own.

12. Wannabe
First aired: 2/3/2002 Production Code: 112Emma who is against sexism, and believes cheerleading is sexist, is upset to discover that her best friend, Manny, is auditioning to be a cheerleader. Manny soon discovers that being a cheerleader is not that important, and agrees what Emma was talking about. Meanwhile, JT, Toby, Liberty and Spinner team up together to get the ace of spades and the ace of clubs so they could win one million dollars. Only at the end, they have both of one kind and the contest is now ended.
13. Cabaret
First aired: 2/17/2002 Production Code: 113Ashley's convinced that she and Terri are going to be the stars of the school talent show, singing her new (and incredibly earnest) ballad. Terri would rather add Paige -- and some fun sparkle -- to the act, but she's not sure how to tell Ashley that. Terri's new project on Tarot cards provides her with a convenient excuse. When she predicts Manny's fall, Ashley begins to believe in Terri's mystical power and Terri finds a way to get what she wants without having to confront Ashley. But this "problem-solving" becomes an issue when Terri lies about an interpretation and Ashley finds out. Terri and Paige have to go on alone, but Terri finds the courage to face up to Ash and gains her respect.
14. Under Pressure
First aired: 2/24/2002 Production Code: 114Faced with the pressure of passing Grade 7 on his second time around and his mother's newest threat to take him back to his unhappy life up north, Sean is beginning to slip into old, angry patterns. Although Emma's helped him study for Mr. Simpson's exam, he runs out of time to finish and is positive he's failed. As an outlet, he picks a fight with Jimmy. When Emma tries to stop him, he pushes her to the ground, shocking everyone. Although he's passed the exam, he's lost her. Meanwhile, Spinner tries to get himself out of school by stealing Terri's flu. It actually ends that both of them get good marks.
15. Jagged Little Pill
First aired: 3/3/2002 Production Code: 115At the end of the year a little girls' night at Ashley's, turns into the party of the year. Toby invites Sean and JT as his guests and JT has a little "party favour", he's brought Extacy. When Sean tells them he's going to the kitchen to split the pill into half so Toby and JT can take it, he runs into Ashley. He switched the Extacy with asprin and gives the extacy to Ashley telling her to throw it out. Meanwhile, Paige is pressuring Ashley to have more fun so Ashley takes the extacy. She then calls Jimmy and his friends and Jimmy quickly discovers Ashley is high. JT and Toby also invited Emma and her friends over so Emma and Sean fight. Sean is heartbroken. Ashley then cheats on Jimmy and makes out with Sean. Then Jimmy finds out and Ashley publically dumps him and then she even makes fun of Paige. The next day while trying to clean the house up Spinner comes by to inform her that Jimmy wants to break up and gives her some things Jimmy had of her. Ashley is now no longer popular and her only friend is Terri.
