Best known for playing Assistant States Attorney Rhonda Pearlman on the HBO acclaimed series The Wire , Deirdre Lovejoy was born in Abliene, Texas on June 30th 1962. She began acting as a child in local productions. After receiving a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the University of Evansville, in 1987 she graduated with a Master degree in Fine Arts from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.
