In 2008, a couple years after divorcing her husband Charlie Sheen, Denise finally got rid of her "Charlie" tattoo by having it transformed into a fairy with large wings. (edit) Denise ranked #21 in Stuff magazine's "102 Sexiest Women in the World" (2002). (edit) In late 2007, it was reported that Denise's ex-husband Charlie Sheen attacked her with a very hateful e-mail, calling her a fat, jobless pig and a bad mother, among other things. (edit) Denise's controversial love scene with actress Neve Campbell from the 1998 film Wild Things was shown in the 2007 blockbuster Knocked Up. (edit) In October 2007, reports emerged that both Denise and Pamela Anderson had been offered $1 million to pose naked for Playboy magazine. They have both posed for the magazine in the past. (edit)

Denise: My kids are in therapy. It's very sad that they need to be there, but they do for now. On the other hand, it's good they have an outlet to deal with their feelings and someone to be their advocate. If I can help anyone feel better about their kids being in therapy, then something else good has come of this, too. (edit) Denise: I really don't see the downside to posing for Playboy again. I mean, I did it before, and everyone's already seen me naked, so what the hell, right? (edit) Denise: I love being a mom. I love waking up with Sami and Lola, taking them to school, to the dentist, and to gymnastics. The girls are my life. After the divorce, it was kind of scary at first, being alone with the girls, but eventually....it is what it is. It's my life now. It's me and the girls, and that's that. (edit) Denise: Charlie [Sheen] was a nice guy when I met him. People ask me, "Did you really think you were going to change him?" My answer always is, "He didn't need to be changed." Now our girls are going to grow up feeling very torn between us, and that's sad. I'm willing to at least be cordial, but he has no interest in moving past this. As for them bonding with Brooke [Charlie's new wife], you know what? As long as the kids are happy, healthy, and safe, that's all that matters to me. The more they are loved, the better. (edit) Denise: I'm a single mom picking up the pieces of my life. I'm not the girl who is portrayed in the press. I am not a husband-stealer, a gold-digger, or a bitch. My life right now is my kids, my friends, and my work. (edit)
