The ladies are back...again

It's been one month since ex-model Gabrielle Marquez tied the knot with new mayor Victor Lang. One month since Edie Britt attempted suicide. One month since Bree Hodge returned to Wisteria Lane...pregnant. One month since Susan Mayer finally married the man of her dreams, Mike Delfino. One month since Lynette Scavo was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and her mother came to town. So what's in store for the ladies of Wisteria Lane? Find out Sunday, September 30th, when a new housewife moves to the Lane. Katherine Mayfair, who once shared gossip with Susan Mayer and Mary Alice Young, moves into Mike's house with her daughter Dylan, who once played with Susan's daughter Julie, and her second husband Adam who is a gynaecologist. And of course, they have a dark secret...
Who Killed Monique Polier?

On a beautiful evening in the town on Fairview in a restaurant, Carolyn Bigsby showed Bree Hodge the police report Bree's husband's missing ex-wife Alma filed after suffering injuries caused by her husband Orson. On a sunny Friday morning Bree asked him about it, and Orson told her he pushed Alma down the stairs after she attacked him. He also told her what Carolyn's husband confided in him the very same evening--Carolyn's husband Harvey had cheated on her...and with a French redhead flight-attendant called Monique Polier, who was missing as well. Orson, who said his final goodbye to Monique's corpse during his wedding reception, knew exactly who she was and what happened to her. He made an anonymous phone call to the police revealing the identity of the corpse, and pointing them in Harvey's direction. Later that sunny Friday after Bree had just found out about Harvey's affair, which Carolyn was clueless of, Carolyn came by to check on Bree and see if she has left Orson yet. She was surprised to find that Orson had an explanation for the police report as well. But before she had time to leave, Bree retaliated by telling Carolyn to look at her own marriage, and eventually told her everything about Monique and Harvey. Carolyn Bigsby had planned to many things that Friday, but plans changed. After asking her husband on the phone if Monique was still alive which one of them would he be with, he replied "She's dead," she grabbed a gun and walked into the Fairview Fields Supermarket. The rest is history...
One week later, on another quiet November evening on Wisteria Lane, Bree Hodge was getting ready to send out her Christmas cards early. She asked her husband Orson to give her his mother's address so she can send her a card, but he said there is no need since she is completely senile. After finding out she actually lives thirty minutes away in a retirement home, Bree was shocked to find that Orson's mother Gloria Hodge is anything but senile. She invited her home to resolve their feud, but this only made Gloria threaten Orson to uncover his dark secret if he sends her back to the retirement home. But after a week of forbidden alcohol and low-fat food, Gloria drunk an entire bottle of wine thanks to Andrew whom she payed for smuggling it and revealed to Bree that Orson cheated on his ex-wife Alma...with none other than Monique Polier. After realizing it's the same woman from the morgue on their wedding night, Bree, as she usually does it, packed some of Orson's things and threw him out of the house.
Meanwhile, Mike Delfino wass arrested trying to bury his missing toolbox somewhere in the woods. What's more, Mike's phone number was written on Monique's hand. And to remind people, it was Orson who ran him over with his car 8 months ago.
Yes, lots of goings-on with the season mystery, and I must say I am enjoying it much more than the Applewhites. Things are moving much faster at a very cleverly constructed pace. Quite a few loose ends, most of which will obviously be tied up... So stay tuned! I know I will. ![]()
What Happened to Alma Hodge?

About a year or so ago, on a sunny day in the town of Fairview, in a perfect house, a housewife by the name of Alma Hodge started the day business as usual. She went grocery shopping, picked up the drycleaning, and folded the towels as her husband had taught her. It was just before noon, when Alma Hodge was doing some sewing and talking to her parrot when suddenly...she realized she needed to escape. So she waited until her husband left for work and then she packed all her belongings determined to leave this awful life behind, when unfortunately for Alma, her husband Orson returned unexpectedly and caught her in the act... The next day, their nosy next-door neighbor Carolyn Bigsby stopped by as Alma had failed to show up for coffee that morning. She walked in on Orson Hodge cleaning the entire house with bleach. He claimed Alma had left him. When the police searched the house, they were surprised to find that every evidence of Alma's existence had vanished. What really happened to Alma Hodge? Is Orson to blame? Who is the woman he was visiting in the psychiatric hospital? What is his connection to the body buried under the Fairview Country Club? Why did he run Mike over?
Yes, that is a recap of the new season's mystery, and the questions posed should be answered throughout the season. As for the housewives storylines, it's remarkable how much has happened in only three episodes. The season premiere had 24 million viewers, which is down from last year's 28 million, but I personally feel, and I know that many would agree, this season premiere was so much better than last year's in about a million ways. It will be fun to watch Bree's new married life, and I think Orson will be sticking around. And now that Mike woke up, this season looks very promising...
In other news, only a year after a pole fell on her head, Eva Longoria was injured on the set again when she slipped while leaving her trailer. The actress was reported to be fine, but her ribs were very bruised. This is the fourth public injury on the set of Desperate Housewives, including Teri Hatcher injuring her ribs while shooting the season 1 scene where she falls into a wedding cake, and a recent injury when a lighbulb exploded in her face while shooting season 2. As for rumors about Longoria and her boyfriend, basketball player Tony Parker, breaking up they turned out to be false, as they are still being seen together quite often. Marcia Cross is expecting twins afterall, she admitted to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "I was so blown away about it that I needed a minute to deal with it. So we didn't tell anybody, we just said that I was pregnant. But then the story got out, though I don't know how, and everybody started congratulating me. So yes, I am having twins."
As many of you know, a hostage situation in a supermarket will take place in the seventh episode. Well here's some juicy details. Carolyn Bigsby is the shooter. Among the hostages, are our very own Lynette, Nora and Julie. Susan is outside the supermarket, going ballistic. Someone gets killed. And as for Mike, apparently he has amnesia and has trouble remembering Edie and Susan.
