Diana Quick spent three years at the University of Oxford, where she was a star of O.U.D.S. (the Oxford University Dramatic Society). She quickly took to the stage, and her work has included classical theatre and musicals, including The Threepanny Opera.
She has been married to Bill Nighy since 1981, and they have one child, the actress Mary Nighy.
