Diem Brown, now 25 years old, was first featured on MTV’s "Fresh Meat" located in Australia in September of 2005. After being chosen for the MTV challenge show, Diem was diagnosed with Stage 2 ovarian cancer. Due to the cancer, Diem had one of her ovaries, several lymph nodes and part of her fallopian tube removed. While going through chemo and treatment, Diem let MTV camera’s follow her on her tough journey. The footage, which could be put together to make a full special, is in production to possibly be aired later this year. Diem is now part of The Duel, and while she gets eliminated in the 14th episode by castmate Aneesa Ferreira, she was a fierce competitor. she is a great women she is a strong women she has fought against cancer and now shes stronger than ever i give her a 10 a big fat 10 for her goals she has achieved even with cancer she is a great great great person i would love if she can have her own book called my cancer story she has suffered and struggled so much on and off the set of the real world versus road rules challenge in the show she has made a great effort she is one of my favorites keep moving on diem! bye

i think diem is one of the nicest people on a real world road rules challenge that i have ever seen!!!! i can not believe everything she went through and every thing sha has accomplished! i loved it when she was togethor with derrick in fresh meat and i wish she was togethor with derrick in the duel and not with ct. she is such an inspiration and i was so sad when tina and kenny put her in exile in fresh meat because she needed the money more than every one else. some people said that she only made it that far because of her cancer but in the first season no one knew about her cancer except aviv.
