Spike: What have we here, a walking house? No, it's Sinclair. So what're you doing, retaining water?
Robbie: It's all muscle, Spike, I've been working out you know.
Spike: No doubt, and I believe it's safe to assume you've had a change in diet.
Robbie: What do you mean by that?
Spike: Don't try and kid a kidder, you're on the big T.
Robbie: How's that?
Spike: Swallowing spikes, riding the wild ride, popping porcupines.
Robbie: Hey, are you saying I'm on Thornoids? Well you're way off base, bud.
Spike: Oh really? Well looky here! (grabs Robbie's arm) Where did these come from, the Spike fairy? They look supsiciously like the unfortunate side effect of Thornoid consumption.
Robbie: Oh yeah? (grabs Spike's arm) Well you got spikes too.
Spike: Yeah, and I came by mine naturally, have you ever met my mother? (edit)

Trivia

add »
Robbie's voice gets deeper as his muscles enlarge and his spikes come in as a side effect of eating the Thornoids. Though this episode was done to show the unpleasant results of taking steroids, typically when men take them, their voices tend to become higher and more feminine. (edit)

This is a reference to the prime time television show, Beverly Hills, 90210, that ran from 1990-2000 on the FOX network. (edit)
Stairway to Heaven:

The title of the episode is a reference to Led Zepplin's classic song, Stairway to Heaven. (edit)
