The new DW is ok but the classic DW is better.

The stories are so much better in the classic series. The only thing in the new DW I like over the classic is the CGI but you can't create a story around CGI.

Plus I like JNT more then RTD

for me it's the NEW & here's why i LOVE the CGI it goes with the story, & no i'm NOT A HUGE fan of CGI buut IF It's got to do with the storyline than i'm all for it. an example would be "Lord of the rings" trilogy" IF that was made or tried to be made 10 or 20 yrs. ago it would NOT have worked as GOOD as it would by today's standards. i do Loove speical effects buut i'm NOT a HUGE fan of them IF they are just there just to have them ya know? anywys the other reason i'm a HUGE & BIGGER fan of the NEW 'WHO" is cause i saw it 1st. see the 1st episode of "WHO" that i've EVER saw was 'Rose" when Sci-Fi 1st aired it. buut if i had saw the "Classic who" when it was 1st on i prolly Most likely would be a bigger fan of the original series than the newer one. & while i don't think russel t. davies is no mastermind & all that. buut he has written some good storylines. some are better than others buut than

there are also better storylines or serials in the original show than other's an example would be is 'the aztecs' that bores the hell out me. & others think & believe that's a classic one. & that's ok they can like it if they so chose to. in in the middle of watching the era where the 1st doctor is with Vicki & steven. & it's Not bad. buut not great at least so far. the serials with vicki starting with her 1st episode i'm not impressed with. well the serials i mean. the 1st good one i liked that she was in was 'time meddler' that's the 1st one i think the writing was EXTREMLY GOOD" & right now i'm in the middle of watching galaxy 4 well the recon of course it's Not a great serial so far either. buut my point is some serials or episodes whichever one may go by, New show or old show are better than others. least i think so anyways. buut hey maybe this is just me ya know?

Hmm, bit of a fait accompli there, forcing somebody who HAS watched both to either decide one is better than the other or not vote at all.

well like i said i guess it just depends IF ya were a fan when the original was 1st on. like "Dark Shadows" i love the remake buut i also love the original & on that one i became a fan of the original of course much MORE cause the stories were better, & it was on longer as well. who knows iF the remake of that show had lasted a few more yrs or so i may be a bigger fan of that show this the original ya know? i'll never know when it comes to that one. buut as for "Who" ayuh it IS a tough decision for some. & easier i guess for others. for me it was easy. Mainly cause i'm used to the New Who than the original Who.

I agree, there's no option up there for me. I don't have a preference, I enjoyed both.

As much as I like David Tennant and over all I like the new Doctor Who. Thereare things about the production team I hve problems with. Also it is hard to give up on something that you have been a fan to for so long (1977). It is like when all the new sports teams moved into N.C. and they wanted ous life long fans of other teams to drop our teams and start pulling for the N.C.'s teams. Even if your team is not as good it is hard to change and with some fans you just cannot change. So even with wath the BBC and JNT did to the old Doctor Who I have to say in a close race I feel the old show is better.
