Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is a three part, web only, musical mini-series. Joss Whedon created and wrote it during the writers' strike 2008 with his brothers Zack and Jed, and with the writer and actress Maurissa Tancharoen. In Joss Whedon's own words, "It's the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he's too shy to talk to." Act III

Aired: Saturday July 19, 2008

Bad Horse has insisted that only a murder will get Dr. Horrible into the Evil League of Evil, and now that Captain Hammer is dating Penny, his death seems to be the perfect choice. Will the prospective super-villain pull off his dastardly plan? And what will Penny think of him if he succeeds?

Act Three

Captain Hammer's latest good deed earns him a statue, but Dr. Horrible has other plans for the self-centered superhero.
