Dr. Mike discovers a boy alone in a cabin on the outskirts of town with his dead caretaker. Upon bringing him to town, she discovers that a number of people knew of his existance and his history as the son of one of the saloon girls. Dr. Mike takes him under her wing, trying to help him become more comfortable with social settings, only to have her efforts met with the resistance of the townfolk who insist he "ain't right."
