All of the training for the World Martial Arts Tournament is about to be put to the test. Goku and Krillin are also given new uniforms that bear the mark of the Turtle Hermit. At the location of the Worlds Martial Arts Tournament, old and new friends meet at last. In addition to Goku and Krillin, Yamcha and a host of others have signed up. There are only eight spots to be had, so each fighter had better be ready to secure their place in the Elimination Rounds.

Well another episode, and even though its called The Tournament Begins it actually dosent. Goku and Krillin finish their training. Roshi tryies to see up lauches skirt. Goku, Krillin,Rosh travel to the Tournament and meet up with bulma and the rest of their old friends and thats about it really. The episode is entertaing and once again shows a certain amount of adult humor about it. Overall its a good episode and we see all our heros together again before the start of the world martial arts championship. We also see Yamcha look very different throughout the episode. 8 out of 10
