Many years have passed since Goku first searched for the Dragon Balls. He is a grown man, with a wife and son.   I was wondering if I should start buying these. I decided to wait on buying any until they released all the seasons. I got screwed last time when they released those ultimate uncut sets and stopped like halfway through. But now I hear these new releases aren't as good because they are released in widescreen format and apparantly cut out chunks of the top and bottom of the screen.less «

  Certainly DBZ isn't the best stuff around, no matter how fans may cry out for.
  Those who lack experience, they take dbz as the best for granted.
  but If you watch some quality stuff like Death Note, u can figure out the difference.
  
  when I was kid, Hell, I was even a fan of it. But then they decided to make new and improved 'hardcore' episodes. What was the problem?
  
  It wasn't the **** new voices. It wasn't the **** music. It wasn't the **** plot.
  
  I had gotten much too old for it. Green men who could fly and blast bad guys with fireballs from their hands just doesn't do it for me anymore. On top of that, I began to notice that everything had gotten so damn annoying.
  
  I don't need you to explain how you shoot a fireball in every **** episode. I get it. I just want to see you fight. Is that so much to ask? Here's a little DBZ in a nutshell. Forgive me if I butcher the names, all you DBZ fans. I'll do my very best:

  A great way to sum up my childhood is 3 letters…DBZ! hide « show »

  Dragonball Z is the 2nd show in the Dragonball Trilogy and my favorite of the 3. Goku is the main character and DBZ is about his adulthood and he has allies such as his sons Gohan and Goten; The Saiyan Prince Vegeta; Vegeta's son, Trunks; The so called world champion Hercule; Hercule's daughter, Videl; Piccolo, Krillen, Yamcha, Tien and whole lot more! He learns of his Saiyan origins and must battle powerful villains such as the cosmic emperor Frieza, the biological android Cell and the putty-like demon Buu! All-in-All DBZ is a show that had a big impact on my life & will always look back on for fond memories.

  DBZ=Most Awesomeness Show Ever!!! hide « show »

  You know, DBZ is one of the very few greatest shows ever! Action, humour, friendship... it has everything! ... And yes.. both for boys and girls! It has a great storyline and plots, with some negatives, but more positives! You even feel yourself getting closer to the characters each episode, lol. It has lots of characters that I found I didn't really forget. And the powering up and all the Super Saiyan stuff is awesome too! lol... Forever entertaining and exciting... who wouldnt like it??? - Girls probably, but they could think the guys were good looking! lol, back to the real subject... DBZ=Most Awesomeness Show Ever! Long live Dragonball Z!!!

  Dragon ball z if you dont already know.... is a continue of draon ball the manga . welll dragon ball z is also evolved around goku and his family and friends and it is just so good you will be hooked. you will wanna know if you got the next disc in the mail and if you dont you will be very upset.. its very hard to describe such a great show... it is by far my favorite tv show .... and yes i am a girl. but dbz is very epic and worth all your time . #1 show...... personally all the other shows that try to make it sorta like it are posers who are tryin to be legendary which means they will fail..........so if you even think naruto or sumtin is dbz u really need to watch dbz first..... dbz is the birth of millions of fans and i was little when this came out so i didnt watch it of course i was lost and confused but now i know i can see why people loved it so much... it is a lil repetitive but it isnt like the same thing well of course their will be someone bad ut thats just about it... and all the characters and plot were very well thought out.. you should definitaly watch this show beginning to end cuz if you dont you will be lost so start at the begginng and i prefer to buy them after u like it and see the first couple seasons on netflix but if u continue on netflix it took me 2 months to get 1 disc because the waits r really long so like in the 5th season or 6th season i prefer u to buy it at amazon.com............ it is the cheapest in boxsets

  This show is legendary, So many things contributed towards it. This is a very good anime one of the ACTUAL FIRST ANIME ACTION show. This show is the definition of action anime genre's. hide « show »

  Dragon Ball Z, a very legendary show as if people grew up off of it like it was food and water. DBZ is all about action and a boy named Goku who is the main character out of the whole show. Goku fights his way through his huge adventure from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Z to Dragon Ball GT but Dragon Ball Z was his main scenario series as he fought 3 main saga enemys names Frieza, Cell and Buu each tougher then the next. All these enemys had one thing in common: They wanted too destroy or take over the universe! Will Goku be able too defeat them all? of course with the help of all his friends and family like Krillin(His best friend), Gohan(his son) and Piccolo(his old enemy) even Vegeta whopposed him first helps Goku fight his way through the big series. It is a must watch and its over 9000!
