Any one watch or like this show, it is a little interesting but it feels a little like DH. Who is with me on this?

I donĀ“t know if Housewives are a trend this days, because after D.H. now we have several rip-offs such as Orange County Wives and now this one.

I love this show but I am a Catherine Bell fan. I don't watch DH but from what I have heard about it I don't think it is anything like it. I think it is tastefully done and very interesting. It is not just about the relationships between husbands and wives but between the wives and their friends and their children. I love the bond that is forming between these women and one man.

In my Opinion it is a winner!

I have seen it..it is a lot like D.H. and that orange county wives show...maybe it will change later on..there has only been two episodes out yet..I really hope army wives aren't to much like the ones portrayed because I am a army wife but haven't yet moved..

IMO, Army Wives has different types of viewers. Those who live the Army wife life and those who respect it and want to learn more. As an Army Wife, and a devoted viewer of DH, I have to say, they are nothing alike.

But you'r opinions are well respected of course.

What is the difference. not sounding ignorant...I'm a Navy wife just want to know. Honestly.

i definitely enjoy this show.. i'm not sure i would compare it to DH yet.. like somebody else said before.. army wives seems to be more about the friendships growing between these 4 woman and a man.. though while more episodes come out.. it is showing some DH tendancies.. especially with the kids hooking up story line..

A few times-I was happy to see Brigid Walsh from Kindred: The Embraced in a role.

I take the opinion that this show is like DH, it sourrounds totally different issues. Where the women on DH are more focused on getting a man and trying to hide their secert from their husbands. These women have other things on their minds like is my husband going to come home after a depolyment. I can say that it is a totally different out look on life.

I really like the show. I'm watching Kill Point on Spike right now and am interested to see that Pamela's husband isn't deployed to Iraq but is robbing a bank at this moment.2

I don't watch DH. (I saw part of the pilot and it just seemed too Hollywoodish for me. But I am a fan of Army Wives. I started watching it because of Catherine Bell (to see her playing a diff character from her JAG character, and because of the show's creator, Katherine Fugate. I met her at a con a few years ago after she had written an episode of Xena that fans had rated as the best ep of the season (When Fates Collide, Xena s6.) Add the that, Drew Fuller (who was on charmed for a season) and Brigid Brannagh (who was on Charmed for 1 ep) and the Army wives cast starts reading like a who's who of the TV industry. After a few episodes, I was so interested in the characters and the stories that the actors really weren't a big deal. Now I have s1 on dvd and am waiting for s2 dvds to be announced. So, yeah, I like the show.
