    Ditto.. that scene was great!

    Also:
    NCIS:
-when Tony is sick and almost dies
    - when Kate got shot(especially the S2 premiere when everyone's "seeing" her again..

    Dawson's Creek:
    - when Mitch died and the whole episode after that!
    - when Jack got totally out of character in S5 (but mostly out of frustration towards TPTB *lol*)

    CSI: Maimi
    - Speed's death (even though it's the worst way a main character got ever killed off a show)

    Charmed:
    - when Chris died (he was the one character that kept me watching that show)

..can't think of more right now (that were'nt mentioned before)..

I forgot about Speed's death! Yeah that was sad.

Desperate Housewives is a GREAT show IMO, well I guess it's not my opinion only. It's the other 30 million Americans that watch it every week, the critics, and all the other people outside of the US who watch this show, too.

You would be arguing if someone said everyone who watched THE X-FILES was watching garbage, wouldn't you?

Just because you don't like a show doesn't mean it's garbage.

DH is one of the few shows that are actually smart and have good writers and actors. The 30 million viewers every week and the critics prove the show is worth watching. Maybe to you it's garbage, but to most of us, it isn't. So backoff!

Of course you're allowed to express your opinion. And so are they. If you stomp on something that people like there's bound to be a reaction. As anyone who reads any forums knows. You don't have to watch "Desperate Housewives", but if you call it garbage of course there's going to be people who rush to its defense.

You're right that a lot of people watch a lot of horrible shows and numbers don't really mean a thing about quality. I've seen way too many shows I've loved cancelled due to low ratings to believe otherwise. But at least you have to admit it's a show with a point of view, a sense of craft and creators who are making an honest effort to give us something different. Regardless of whether you like the final product or not, this is something to be supported.

And to state my own opinion, yeah, I quite like the show.

You do I'm sorry. I'm just sick of everyone insulting good shows like "Desperate Housewives".

With 24, it's supposed to be the last time, but it isn't.

I'm re-watching the season 6 episodes so far of CSI and I forgot one of the saddest scenes in my previous post:
6x05 "Gum Drops": when Nick visits the little girl he saved in the hospital at the end of the episode and she hands him the self-made card. Written on it is: Thanks for finding me.. from: Cassie, To: the good guys, about: the bad guys..
The whole episode is sad, but that scene tops it all!

    TRU CALLING -
When Luc died - his funeral and when he got shot

    THE O.C -
Caleb's funeral (I know... it was the song I swear!)
When Marrisa shot Trey (for some reason I never likes Marrisa)

    ONE TREE HILL -
    Lucas' accident in Season 1
When Luke told Brooke he loved her but she left anyway (Season 2 Finale)

That's all I can think of right now...

Both parts in The OC you mentioned have the same song. It's "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap. What a great song. Definately my all-time #1.

Agree with brunette on this one, was sad!

Also, and please don't laugh here, but in McLeod's daughters there was an ep where they had to put the horse down - I admit to being teary eyed watching this...I'm not even a fan of horses! Must have had something in my eye!
