I really like them all. I'm always getting caught up in one on TNT when I stop the tape that I'm presently watching. AND 9 time out of 10 I've seen the thing before! I'd really like to learn the true story of why Trial By Jury was dropped and the present glop substituted.

I don't know what Dick Wolfe does that others cannot as far as capturing my affections. These are formula shows, plotline always the same. You'd think that would bore me. I am not a cop or a lawyer so the inaccuracies don't bother me much.

They don't preach TOO much (I detest having political correctness forced down my throat [well, they do express political opionion, some of which I disagree with]) and they don't descend to 'relationships' that have nothing to do with the story. (Like NYPD does, which is why I stopped watching that one. Why every male and female cop on NYPD has to have the hots for each other escapes me. The Shield at least makes the intrapersonal more believable.)

SVU is the best, then the original, then Trial By Jury, and then Criminal Intent. And even though "Conviction" technically isnt a spinoff, it still takes place in the same universe and has a character from SVU, and I can see myself liking it.

SVU is my favorite by far. Criminal Intent is good, but truth is I only watch it for Goren. He's so entertaining. I haven't seen either of the other two series, so I can't offer an opinion on them. but I love SVU. everything about it is wonderful.

I personally like SVU the best. I'm still a true original Law and Order fan, though!

I really enjoy Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, but Law and Order: Criminal Intent is right behind it.

I love the original during the "Lennie years" - after Jerry Orbach died the show lost a certian something that made it so special. I also watch Criminal Intent now that Chris Noth is back on it.

The original is easily the best and I watch it whenever I can. SVU is pretty decent too. Not a big fan of CI but when I start seeing those Chris Noth episodes that might change.

I love L&O the original with Chris Noth and Jerry Orbach.  I was a bit upset when Chris was gone and replaced by um...I forgot his name...it's on the tip of my tongue....I only remember "Ed Greene"...what is this guys name??? Agh..it'll come to me....Anyway, he grew on me.  I think he's great.  I was sad about Jerry dying but JESSE MARTIN!!! Ok...I remember now.  So I was saying sad about Jerry dying but Dennis Farina doing a great job...so did Michael Imperioli when Ed was shot.

I love L&O:CI next.  I think Vincent D'Onofrio is the show.  I like Kathryn Erbe (she was on Another World way back in 1989) but Det. Goren doesn't need a partner.  He's just awesome.

My 3rd favorite is L&O:SVU.  It's a damn good show.  I love Ice-T.  Everytime I see this guy in a movie or on some other TV show (hello...."Players") he's the exact same character with a different name!

I could never quite get into L&O:Trial by Jury though I watched it because it was L&O.

The worst of all was L&O: Crime & Punishment.  This show was a crime and I'm glad it's gone!

Law and Order SVU is the best then Law and Order. Law and order CI and Trial By Jury are not good at all.

I enjoy the original Law & Order best. The humor and the trial part and all the surprises it brings with it. Second come Law & Order: Criminal Intend and SVU and then Trial by Jury.
