The lads enter the changing room at Half Time to find Gina collapsed on the floor. Fletch rushes in to be by her side as the paramedics arrive. Viv, not wanting to the lads to lose focus, takes them into the physio's room for a team talk. Don gets up from his seat to find Gina being wheeled away by the paramedics and suspects that she has fell victim to the trap he set up for Ryan and looks worried. The lads come out for the second half a shadow of the team in the first half, with the news of Gina's well being on their minds. They concede 3 cheap goals and are on the verge of missing out on the play-offs until Ryan Naysmith pops up in injury time to secure their place. Whilst the second half is being played, devious Don sneaks into the Harchester changing room and plants Cyanide, the poison that was added to the water bottle, in Fletch's bag and takes his phone. The lads return from the pitch, jubilant that promotion is still within their grasp, to find a policeman outside the changing room denying them access.

Meanwhile, Fletch tries to get in contact with Don begging to know what he added to the water in the sports bottle as Gina's life is hanging in the balance. Don panic's and hangs up. He makes his way downstairs and makes an anonymous phone call from Fletch's phone to the Hospital and tells them what Gina has taken. The Doctors rush in and act quickly and stabilise Gina's condition.

The lads return from the pitch to find a policeman outside the changing room denying them access and proclaiming the changing room a crime scene. The lads are lead upstairs by CID who then inform him that Gina was poisoned and also tell them that they don't think Gina was the intended victim and it doesn't take the lads wrong to figure out that it was one of them.

Jodie is set to check out from the Grange before seeing on the news that her friend has been taken to Hospital and backtracks out of leaving. As she leaves she informs the police that it may have been the sports bottle that Gina was drinking out of that contained the poison. The Detective in the players lounge passes this information on to the lads. He wants a list of people who had access to the changing room but Lee informs him of the fire just before kick off which basically means anyone from the East Stand could've got access. As the Detective demands to see CCTV tapes of around the stadium, Dean convinces him to let the lads go home. Viv doesn't want Lee being on his own so arranges for Curtis to take him back to his place.

Gina awakes to find Fletch crying at her bedside. He tells her that he thought he was going to lose her but she tells him not to speak like that. Fletch tells her he's sorry about the fight they had and even pops the question, saying he wants her to be his wife and she agrees. The doctor enters to tell Fletch that Gina needs rest and he should go home and do the same.

As Dean and Eli relax in his office, the Detective comes in with CCTV tapes convinced he has found his man. He shows footage of a man (Fletch) in a black hooded sweatshirt entering an empty room where he believes is where the fire started. Although they can't see his face, they do see his make of football boots - 'Venino' and sets off to find a player with those type of boots. He goes to see Viv but gets nothing from him and it's not until they interview Don that they start to get a suspect. Don tells them that Fletch wasn't too happy about Harchester not renewing his contract and lies, saying that he came to him looking for a deal with West Ham. He also tells him that it is well known in the Harchester dressing room that Fletch wears Venino boots. Fletch makes his way into the club and tries to enter the changing room. He is stopped and quizzed by the Detective and he escorts him down the station for further questioning. Down the station he shows Fletch the tape of a hooded figure entering the room where the fire started. He also shows Fletch a bottle of Cyanide that they found in Fletch's bag and Fletch sees that he is being fitted up and asks for a lawyer.

A drunken Dean returns home to Curtis' place and can't work the key in the lock. He starts banging on the door begging to be let in. Curtis gets out of bed and enters Ryan's room with Viv's shotgun in tow! Ryan jumps out of skin but Curtis tells him it isn't loaded. Curtis hastily makes his way downstairs and gets a fright when he sees Lee letting Dean in. Ryan bumps into the back of him causing Curtis to pull the trigger and the bullet hits Lee!

Viv arrives at the hospital and gives Curtis a hard time over what happened to Lee. Curtis tells him that it isn't serious but he may be ruled out of the play offs. The police continue to interrogate Fletch and show him a fingerprint sample that they took from the bin Fletch used to start the fire. Fletch admits he was there and says he was having a cigarette and had to do it somewhere Viv couldn't catch him and says he couldn't have put it out right and that started the fire. The also show him his phone bill which shows the call made from his mobile to the Hospital that saved Gina's life and it seems the net is closing in. His lawyer calls for a timeout and it doesn't look good for Fletch.

Jodie visits Gina in Hospital and starts blaming herself for giving her painkillers but Gina tells her not to blame herself. She receives a call from Fletch and he tells Jodie that he has been set up by her father. She doesn't believe him but he tells her that Don paid him to take out Ryan and tells her to go to his hotel room and find the money in his safe to prove it. She goes to his room and low and behold, finds £100,000 in the safe. She enters her dad's room and accuses him of setting up Fletch. Of course he denies it but Jodie calls Fletch's phone and hears it ringing from within the room. Jodie is ashamed of her father even more than before but he somehow manages to talk her round, saying that she wouldn't turn in her own Father. Fletch makes one more desperate plea and calls his own mobile. As it rings in her hand, Don talks her out of answering it and with the police finally running out of patience with Fletch - they arrest him for the attempted murder of Gina Moliano. Add a recap »
