Emily Jane Browning is an eighteen year old actress. She was born on December 7th 1988 in Victoria, Australia. There, she starred in many of her school's plays, much to the approval of her parents Shelly and Andrew. One of Andrew's friends attended a school concert, which an 8 year old Emily was once again starring in. He was in show busness, and realized the talent this girl had. With his encouragement, Emily went to an audition. She landed the part, and became Opal Richie in the movie Echo of Thunder. From there, she played roles in a few TV shows including Something in the Air, Blue… More Heelers and Blonde. Then in 2002, Emily landed a huge role in Ghost Ship. She was seen by many directors in this movie, and in 2004 she got a lead in A Series Of Unfortunate Events. After finishing this movie, she played a role in a small movie Space Travel, shown in Australia. Emily currently resides in her home town with her parents, brothers Nicholas and Matthew, cat Jasper and dog Roxy. She injoys listening to Air and Gomez in her spare time. She has a belly button and nose piercing, and loves peanut-butter on pretty much everything. She is currently dating Liam (coincidence?) Shambrokke. Here's a weird fact; she got her American accent from watching Sesame Street.

    Emily is a talented and beautiful young actress hide show

    Emily is very beautiful and talented. I liked her in series of unfortunate events. Its weird how she got an american accent just by seeing seasame street.hahaha. I have seen her in some appearances of some episodes. But i think she should be in more movies.

    Overall she is a gorgeous and talened person. :)

    She will defintely catch your eye! hide show

    Emily Browning caught my eye after seeing one of her pics from the movie "LemonySnickets: An Unfortunate Events." I thought she is a very pretty young girl. She is also very taleted.. I'm even surprised she learned her accent form Sesame Street!

    I'm still surprised how we're both born on the same month and day!

    A beautiful young Actress hide show

    I've seen two movies with Emily, ghost ship, and a Series of Unfortunate Events, she was great in both movies. She was young in ghost ship and played a girl named katie who died on the ship many years ago, her beauty really started to show when she got the part of Violet in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. And at 16 shes beautiful, talented, and lips so full any guy would want to taste them.

    Emily is the cutest actress I've ever seen. She is talented, pretty, and seems like a nice person. I don't know for sure because, I've never met her though. Anyway shes my favorite actress. She was flawless in Lemony Snicket's. Love ya Em, your the best. . . . .

    Emily Browning is one of those actresses that you want to run up to and congradulate. hide show

    Emily Browning has been in many movies over the length of 8 years, but her most appriciated was in the recent depressant; A Series Of Unfortunate Events. Her acting is superb, her tears are as close to real as it gets, and every line is spoken with feeling. The director was smart to pick her for the role. She was also in Ghost Ship, which was a little more An insperation to blossoming stars, Emily's sweet smile and calm voice is just what all of us need. And on top of it all, her sence of style is one to be admired. She is truely amazing.
