Turtle: Come on E, can't you just have a little faith in me and not doubt me? Maybe this one time, I'll make you proud.
Eric: Oh Turtle, you're breaking my heart. (edit) Turtle: Maybe I could lose the floral arrangements for four grand.
Drama: No no no, nothing gets a girl wet like a calla-lily centerpiece (edit) Ari: Do you know Edith Wharton? Always the same movie. Guy can't fuck the girl for five years 'cause those were the times. Can Vince really relate to that? (edit) Ari: Weird. Kinda feels like I'm trying to fuck you guys.
Eric: Are you?
Ari: Look at that, E! I love it, huh? Still got little-man's complex enough to want to fight. (edit) Vince: Remember ninth grade? You surprised me at Friendly's. That was awesome.
Drama: Yeah it was. And I got jerked off by the girl who made the fribbles. (edit)

In the first season episode "Busey and the Beach," Ari offered the guys floor seats for Los Angeles Lakers, which thay declined because it was the game against the Washington Wizards. They obviously think better of the Golden State Warriors because they went on that game in the Staples Center with the new agent.

The Black Donnellys
Drama's pilot billboard bears a striking resemblance to the ads for The Black Donnellys, a highly-acclaimed yet short-lived drama on NBC. Much like Five Towns, it featured four Irish brothers growing up in New York. (edit) "Age of Innocence"
Age of Innocence was a 1993 film starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Michelle Pfeiffer. It was directed by Martin Scorsese and is an adaptation of the Edith Wharton novel, both of whom are mentioned in the scene in Amanda's office. (edit) Edith Wharton's "Glimpses of the Moon"
New York Times acclaimed novel written in 1922, describing the story of a 1920s couple who have little money, but knows all the right people. (edit) Vince: Is that my agent or America's Next Top Model?
America's Next Top Model is a reality show which airs on the CW. It showcases unknown models who are put through some tests and judged on their performance to pick out the next supermodel between them. The show is hosted by Tyra Banks. (edit)
