Now, I trust you're all comfy on your tacky sofas from 'rooms to go', lots of nibbles close at hand. Well, tuck in and why not smoke between gobbles. Yes, go for the gusto, America. Live like there's no tomorrow because as far as you squalored lot are concerned there very much isn't. Behold, the instrument of your doom...(scene cuts away to show a massive, ominous looking device and then cuts back) I call it.. the Annihilatrix! and when it is completed, a million gigatons of thrust will propel the Earth directly into the Sun... so look upon my work ye mighty and despair... edit »

Killface: It's not too Leno-y?

Jay Leno, at the time of the episode, was host of The Tonight Show. Killface's comment refers to Leno's background of a New York City skyline. Also, Trent mentions other Leno staples, including Kevin Eubanks, Leno's band leader since 1995. edit »

The painting of Killface and Simon in the house is an homage to Napoleon Bonaparte, former ruler of France. The painting is based on the work In His Study, by Jacques-Louis David. edit »
Vlasic Pickles

Killface: You know who I like is that Pickle stork...that they had...from the pickles...

When Killface does his rant on storks, he makes a reference to the stork logo of Vlasic Pickles, which was introduced in the early 1970's. edit »

Killface: ...now what the deuce is up with those couplings?

"What the deuce" is an expression popularized by its usage by Stewie Griffin on the hit animated sitcom Family Guy. As well as still airing on its original network of Fox, the program also is shown on TBS and Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. edit »

Killface chastises his son, Simon for eating Cap'n Crump cereal. This is an obvious parody of the actual breakfast cereal Cap'n Crunch. The image of the mascot of the Cap'n on the box has been replaced by Simon's favorite rapper Taqu'il. edit »
