Mark must overcome numerous obstacles, mostly weather-related, in order to get to the church to marry Elizabeth, who is stuck with both of her bickering, divorced parents. Abby has a major cold, but cannot leave the hospital, due to most of the nurses being at the wedding. Many patients come in to the ER from an accident involving a prison van; Luka and Carter clash over the treatment of an injured cop and a prisoner with a dislocated shoulder. While waiting for a flight to Vegas, Weaver (who wasn't invited to the wedding), strikes up a conversation with a friendly man. Chen misses her son. Cleo doesn't want to go to the wedding, because the bride is Peter's ex-girlfriend.

Good old Mark - I so wanted him to be happy. But why do tv writers always go for the easiest plot device. Do weddings ever go ahead smoothly. Why do they have to generate drama? The guy has a brain tumour, just let him have an easy wedding.
Nice to Luka going into hard-ass mode! And hilarious. I particularly like Abby's reason for sticking up for Carter: "he's my friend". And Luka's not going to be swayed by that excuse.
I like this episode but I think they could have done more with it.
1. Why do they always portray British people as uptight and posh. They're not all like that you know.
2. Don't know why but Carter's teenage girlfriend annoys me. He deserves better. Bring on Kem!
3. Why can't Luka and Abby see that they are meant for each other and stop wasting time!
Sweet episode and it was raining hide show
All the trouble Mark has to overcome to get his wedding. This episode was different and it was special but worth it. A little humor again, in Romano part. To be honest, he somehow shined in this episode. The look on his face and the way he said when he told that Greene is lucky.
But Mark - I think noone wants to go so much troubles as he went but it was adventurous and worth to follow. And oh, it can rain so heavily there.
And all the storyline with Peter and Cleo - not so great but still worth it but Elizabeth's day and Mark's way to the wedding - it was so well built and written. I was so sure it can only get worser when she starts her labor on the wedding. Happily, that did not happened.
beautiful episode.
It's Elizabeth and Mark's wedding day but will it go like clock work or be a complete disaster only time will tell.. hide show
For a heavily pregnant women Elizabeth looked beautiful and even received a comment from Romano and for once he was spot on Mark is a very lucky man.Her sarcy, hormonal outbursts were extremely comical particularly the one about kicking ass in America and how if she wore white she could sink the titanic.
The situation wasn't helped by her bickering parents but after some signs of emotion from Elizabeth their argument mellowed and they comforted their daughter. She should count herself lucky probably the only time she will get them in a room together without arguments.
You would think that on your wedding day you'd have some luck but not for Mark.First leaving his wallet at work then Rachel missing her flight.Only to be told that she cannot make it because of the current storm. Can it get any worse?
It can and it did after several attempts at reaching the church mark resulted to hitching a lift from Peter only to hit severe traffic. After some initiative and heroics he finally gets to the church via ambulance fitting don't you think. One of the best couples on the show , may they be happy whilst they're together.
Greene and Corday gets married... hide show
Mark Greene and Elizabeth Corday gets married despite the terrible weather and all the things going wrong. First, Rachel is not coming because she missed her flight. Can you say irresponsible? Poor Mark, I would go crazy if I had a daughter like that. Then Mark remembers that he has forgotten his wallet in the ER, well you gotta include the ER somehow in a wedding episode if the title says ER. Then, of course, it is pouring rain outside, after a few unsuccesful attempts at public tranports, Peter offers him a ride. They got stuck when an accident occurs. Mark gets heroic, Rachel can`t make it to the wedding, Elizabeth goes crazy with her divorced and manic parents, Weaver is not invited to the wedding (ouch!) , Abby is sick... In the end, Mark gets to the church to merry a very pregnant and beautiful Elizbeth. Funny and nice!
Greene and Corday encounter difficult problems in order to get married. hide show
It's the day of Elizabeth and Mark's wedding, and it has all gone wrong for the pregnant Elizabeth who is a bundle of nerves. The weather is horrible, Rachel can't make it to the wedding, and the limo won't come. That's the least of her problems when the groom doesn't show up! Mark is desperately trying to get to his wedding. He left his suit at the ER and goes back to collect it, but that only delays his arrival at his wedding. Symbolism was represented in this episode. The fact that this couple overcame all these difficult problems and made it to the alter really says how much their love can survive anything that comes their way.
Such a special episode, and I could watch it over and over again!
