"Believe the Unseen," the episode's title, is the 1st Touch Foundation's motto, started by baseball player Derrek Lee, who guest starred earlier in Season 14 in the episode "Gravity." Lee has a daughter with LCA (Leber's congenital amaurosis), the disease included in one of the storylines.
