Luka and Abby treat a man injured after driving drunk, but differ about what should be done when his wife appears to have been abused. Later, Luka receives an unsettling package and Abby meets an intriguing stranger. A group of street kids come to the ER when they think one has rabies, and find a guardian angel in blue. Pratt disappears from the ER for a community-related reason, and learns a surprising truth about a family member. Kerry’s TV appearance becomes a real emergency.

Hope: The rabies kid. He's got a rhythm, a pulse and a BP.
Neela: That's not possible.
Hope: Tony put the pulse ox on his finger and the kid just grabbed his hand. It's like a miracle! Come on! (edit) Abby: (On the phone) Okay... Okay, well give him four more ounces and I'll be back in a half hour. All right, bye.
Eddie: Cell phones, how do we ever survive without 'm?
Abby: Sorry. That was my babysitter.
Eddie: Aren't you a little old to need a babysitter?
Abby: (Smiles)... For my baby.
Eddie: (Laughs) Well aren't you a little young to have one of those? (edit) Gates: (To Cue Ball, who's trying to leave with help from another patient) No! Cue Ball, where are you going?
Cue Ball: Ho, man! They fixed me up!
Other patient: Cue Ball! Hey I knew your parents, Eight Ball and a highball! (edit) Teller: (Sees Neela saving a patient in the other trauma room) Its gonna be okay Pauly, you're gonna be okay! The Blue Lady is here! (edit)
Neela: What?

Neela's "secret name", Mayday is an anglicized form of the French phrase "M'aidez" which translates to "help me". Historically, Mayday is used as a distress call, particularly when one's life is in danger.
