It is revealed that Al Boulet, Jeanie's ex-husband, died from complications of AIDS and weighed only 78 pounds at his death. (edit) Haleh tells Jeanie that Doug and Carol are still happily together in Seattle and that their twins, Tess and Kate, have just started third grade. She also mentions that Carter is still in Africa, and thinking of visiting in the spring. (edit) Jeanie now runs two clinics counseling HIV positive teens: the South Drexel Clinic, and the North Drexel Clinic. (edit) When Beth hugs Jack after he announces his support, she can clearly be seen wearing an engagement ring. This ring originated in a scene that was cut, in which Jack proposes to Beth.
