What do you get when you mix construction, comedy, music and mania? Chicago native Eric Stromer.

Born and raised in Evanston, Ill., Eric excelled in football, track and a love of the arts. An early break in commercials led him to the University of Colorado theater department, where he stayed exactly one week. After realizing his terrible mistake, he desperately tried to return home but was forced against his will to remain in school and actually pay for things by working in construction. Eric thinks he either painted or put crown molding in just about every house in Colorado

… More for four years until graduation.

Upon graduation, vowing never again to work in construction, Eric moved west to Los Angeles and immediately began remodeling houses. With occasional stints on soaps, television shows, and features, Eric's construction business began to flourish. Eric founded Big House Construction inc. Eric has remodeled homes for Mel Gibson, Dylan McDermott, Elijah Woods and Jasmine Guy as well as Sally and Erv Stromer (his own mom and dad!).

Eric is an accomplished singer/songwriter who has written and performed music for The Drew Carey Showtime Special, Christopher Walkin's film The Wild Side and numerous television shows. Eric also produced, scored, and starred in The Acting Thing, a comedy short that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and won top honors at the Houston Film festival for best comedy short.

    Eric finding a family from the Hurricane Katrina area to give them a new home. His emotions was so touching and heartbreaking. hide show

    After watching Eric work with the victims of Hurricane Katrina has touched my heart. When he went down to their home to get some of their special belongings without caring of the danger he put himself in was very heartwarming. He was an angel to that family. After the story was over and he said he called his wife and children just to hear their voices brought tears to my eyes. I worked at one of the shelters right after the storm hit and when the day was over, I made those phone calls myself. Watching him breakdown made my heart go out to him.

    I Met Eric in Clovis Nm , At amy Grants concert !
    He is the most sweetest guy ever . I was so shooken up that i got to meet him cuz ive been in love with him ever since clean sweep. And my dream came True. hide show

    I have been In love with Eric ever since i saw him on Clean SweepI`ve always wanted to meet him and my dream came true.As i was watchin Amy Grants Concert I saw Him . It was Aug.7th,2005 .
