Mr. Crappizi: Oh relax, kid, they'll touch it up at the lab. You'll look just like Regis Philbin.
Ryan: But, I don't wanna look like Regis Philbin!
Mr. Crappizi: Oh now, he's a very attractive man. (edit) Principal Wexler: Truth be told, I admire your pluck.
Ren: Well, it's nice to have my pluck admired. (edit) Ren: Why were you distracted by my cheeks?
Louis: It looks like you're smuggling meatballs from the cafeteria. (edit) Principal Wexler: Do not talk to a principal about principles! (edit) Ren: What do we want?
Protesters: Re-shoots!
Ren: When do we want them?
Protesters: As soon as it's feasible but sometime within the next six weeks!
Ren: (to Principal Wexler) We're trying to ger a snappier chant. (edit)

Principal Wexler has a portrait of President Bill Clinton hanging in his office. By the time this episode first aired, though, Clinton's term in office was over. (edit) After Louis moves into Donnie's room, a poster for Louis' film, "Three Eyes Wide Shut" from the episode, 'Movie Madness' is seen hanging on the wall by the door. (edit) When Donnie climbs and lays on his new cannopy bed made by Louis, he puts his arms up to relax. But in the next shot, his arms are down.
(edit) When the orthodontist talks to Ren, he says that she has had her braces on for 3 years. In the episode "A Weak First Week" it is the first day of school and she is in 8th grade and has no braces. Throughout the show the highest grade she is in is 9th. She probably also wasn't held back in 8th grade for three years considering how perfect she is supposed to be. (edit) When Louis puts the mirror back into his locker, the crew and their equipment can be seen. It's kind of hard to see because of how fast the mirror goes into his locker. (edit)

The scene where Louis battles a large tree branch which blows into the living room during a storm is reminiscent of a scene in the movie Poltergeist. (edit) Ren's protest chant: "Give a hoot, let's reshoot" is an allusion to "Woodsy the Owl," the USDA Forest Service mascot and his famous saying, "Give a hoot. Don't pollute." (edit) Ren: Alert the media.

When talking to Louis, Ren quotes John Geilgud's familiar line ("I'll alert the media.") from the film Arthur (1981), starring Dudley Moore. This line is often used as a response when someone is told something that is completely unremarkable. (edit)
