On a church ski trip chaperoned by perpetual party pooper Dr. Abbott, Amy and Colin share their first kiss since the surgery. Ephram finds himself intrigued by Colin's younger sister, Laynie (guest star Nora Zehetner), who has recently returned home from boarding school. Also, Bright attempts to get to the next base with his girlfriend (guest star Devon Reilly). Meanwhile, Andy hesitantly agrees to attend a singles mixer with the recently divorced Reverend Keyes (guest star Tim Dekay).

(edit) This episode featured three teenage guest stars all from the movie American Pie 2. (Mike Erwin, Chris Owen and Nora Zehetner) (edit) John Beasley (Irv Harper) did not appear in this episode on-screen. Although, they used his voice in narration. (edit) According to Kat Dennings Official Website, Kat Dennings was originally cast for the role of Laynie Hart, but the WB felt that she wasn't right for the role after a few days of filming, so they recast the role. Snow JobGood "Average" Let it snow let it snow, let it snow. I just love saying that I love Everwood, and I hope that there will be more great drama series out there I just love it and I am lovin' it and I am so happy that this is what happened even though if it was over.
