Ephram: When did you start liking me?
Ephram: Now, I like you now. (edit) Nina: Coffee good, daughter dressed, me wonderful. Got it. (edit) Carol: You should get one of the homosexuals from the TV to come in and spruce this place up. (edit) Bright: So, do you want me to go kill Grandma with you? We could go to prison together. (edit) Bright: It took me 13 years to finish 12 grades. (edit)

Rose's parents, Carol and Herb, live in Scottsdale, AZ.
Delia likes to watch Animal Planet.
The other girl next to page is Susie (Hailey McCormick).
Peak County High School's principal is Mr. Ackerman. (edit) If Bright's first name is "Harold", as the prinipal said, wouldn't his legal name be "Harold Brighton Abbott III". (edit) In response to the 'Bright's name" goof, if Bright, his father, and grandfather all have different middle names, then a III would not be necessary. (edit)

Ephram: Alright, this looks nothing like me. You look great, but I look like one of the kids on "Hi & Lois."
"Hi & Lois" is a newspaper comic strip created by Mort Walker (who also draws "Beetle Bailey"). The strip depicts the suburbanite life of the Flagston family: Hi, Lois, their four towheaded children (teenage Chip; the twins, Dot and Ditto; and baby Trixie), and their dog, Dawg. (edit) Carol Roberts: You should try to get one of those homosexuals from the TV to come in here and spruce the place up.
Grandma Roberts is referring to "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," Bravo's reality TV show in which five gay men set out to make over the world — one straight guy at a time. They are called the Fab Five: an elite team of gay men dedicated to extolling the simple virtues of style, taste and class. Each week their mission is to transform a style-deficient and culture-deprived straight man from drab to fab in each of their respective categories: fashion, food & wine, interior design, grooming and culture. (edit) Bright: Looking for those DeVry commercials. They're always on except for when you need 'em.
DeVry originally began as a correspondence school that provided vocational and technical training for those who did not want to or could not (due to low grades) enter college. Now, however, DeVry offers undergraduate and graduate programs both online and at brick-and-mortar campuses. (edit) Amy: ...So we're having a kind of "end of the year", "end of the world" double feature—"Armageddon", "28 Days Later..."— Ben Affleck, zombies.
"Armageddon" and "28 Days Later..." are two motion pictures that depict doomsday events that earth must deal with. (edit)
