At the urging of his parents and Debra, Raymond reluctantly takes Robert for a night out, on the anniversary of his brother's divorce. The brothers begin a newfound bonding experience until Robert wants to get in touch with Ray's feelings. Later, Robert tells Ray how much the evening meant to him, and Ray lets it slip that it was his parents idea for him to take Robert out. This really upsets poor Robert, who walks out on Ray.

Marie: Where did all the Sucrets go?
Robert: Don't worry mom, I know a guy.

Robert: Yeah, look at all the pretty colors.
Raymond: Look, dad has hair! (edit) Debra: (to Ray) You know I'm interviewing other people for your position. (edit) Frank: If you get shot in the head, they would slap a Band-Aid on it and say, "Snap out of it!" (edit) Debra: So talk to him! Talk about cars or breasts or whatever crap guys talk about. (edit)

When Robert comes in to talk to Ray while he's upstairs putting the kids to sleep, he picks up the loaf of bread from the table and puts it in the fridge. Shortly after Debra takes it back out of the fridge and puts it in the bread box on the counter next to the stove.
