When Frank gets a few anecdotes published in Reader's Digest, he submits his writing samples to Ray's editor, hoping to get his own column in the newspaper. Frank, feeling he has a new lease on life, convinces Ray to submit his story ideas for the column, which he plans to call "I Was Just Thinking." Ray then has to break the news to his father that the editor thinks Frank's writing is the most embarrassing work he's ever read.

Ray: Talk to dad?! Where do you come with this stuff mom? (edit) Frank: This is the hardest part of writing isn't it?
Ray: What?
Frank: The blank page. It just sits there. Mockes you. Dares you. But go on! Write! Conquer the blank page!
(edit) Ray: Hey! You're writing about me!
Frank: No, I'm not. It's.... Roy!
Ray: Oh... ok. Thanks. Dad. (edit) Frank: (While Ray's reading his anecdote): Louder and funnier! Stay right! Stay up! Up up!
(edit) Debra: You know, I gave up some stuff when we had kids.
Ray: Did it have to be sex? (edit)

When Debra opens the door for Robert, she's holding one of the twins upright. But in the very next shot, she is holding him differently.
