Quotes

Debra: Who would want to quit after taking lessons with Marie? She gave me a knitting lesson once and at the end of it, I wanted to impale myself. (edit)
Frank: What in the holy name of crap! (edit)
Marie: I'm not your damn slave girl!
Frank: GIRL! HA! (edit)
Marie: Is this the way you raise your daughter?

Trivia

add »
This episode's lunch special is an open-faced peanut butter and jelly sandwich with grapes, baby carrots, and potato chips. (edit)
When Ray is explaining to Debra why Ally should not quit the piano, he refers to when he proposed to Debra. He asks if he gave up proposing after the first try, as if he asked many times. But in the flashback "The Wedding" it is obvious she accepts with the first time he asks.

If you'll also remember, in the Pilot episode, Ray and Debra are upstairs discussing when he proposed and they say he proposed twice before he got a job and then "boom" marriage. (edit)

Allusions

add »
Mozart: Mozart, the title of the episode, refers to the famous Austrian composer. (edit)
