Debra and Ray feel tremendous pressure to show each other a good time on a romantic weekend getaway in Vermont, and from the moment they set foot in the quaint bed and breakfast, it's apparent that Debra and Ray are trying a bit too hard for this to be a perfect weekend. Meanwhile, Marie spies on Robert, who is left to babysit for the kids.

Ray: Have you ever been to one of these bed-and-breakfasts?
Robert: Yeah, with my ex-wife.
Ray: So how was it?
Robert: Did you not catch the end of that sentence? (edit) Ray: What are you doing here?
Marie: I'm babysitting for you during your getaway, remember?
Ray: Yeah, but we don't leave until tomorrow, so . . . leave until tomorrow. (edit) Ray: We'll be staying in someone else's house?
Debra: They won't be there, Ray.
Ray: I don't want to sleep where other people have slept.
Debra: What do you think hotels are?! (edit) Ray: So what do you want to do? You want to do that hay ride thing?
Debra: You know what? That nap sounded pretty good.
Ray: Yeah?
Debra: Yeah. I've been wanting to take a nap...since Ally was born (edit) Amy: So, Robert hasn't started dating anyone else yet?
Debra: You mean since we talked about him in the shoe department? (edit)
Robert: Yeah, with my ex-wife.
