Ray calls from work and says he's working late again. Marie says she read in an article that peole are happier at work than they are at home. Debra decides to take Ray his dinner and sees him goofing off at work.
Debra and Ray argues and Andy mentions that he knows a guy who works at home. Ray doesn't want to work at home, but he does it to make Debra happy. Ray finds working at home difficult when people keep interrupting him. Marie and Robert bother him, and Debra asks him to help with the groceries. The twins come downstairs and Ray decides to spend time with them instead of writing the article.
It's the end of the day and Ray hasn't done any work yet. Debra comes home and the house is a mess. Debra realizes that it was a bad idea that Ray works at home and tells him to go back to working at his office.
