Ray and Debra are talking when Marie walks in. She says she's fed up with Frank bossing her around. Frank barges in and yells at Marie because she made him a tuna salad sandwich without celery. Frank leaves, but Marie says she's staying: for good. She begins getting on Ray and Debra's nerves by folding and ironing their clothes. Ray decides to go talk to his dad.

Across the street, Frank is watching TV in a t-shirt and boxers. Frank says he went to the grocery store for the first time in thirty years, and now he has discovered salsa. Frank is enjoying the freedom and Ray realizes he can't get through to his dad. Debra then tries her luck at talking to Frank.

Later, Ray is talking on the phone to Debra, who is still over at Frank's. She's enjoying herself and eats dinner with Frank. Ray begins to enjoy having Marie around because she cooks him all the foods that Debra won't because they're unhealthy. Back at Frank's, Debra starts to get bored. Frank asks Debra to get him ice cream and she refuses. She tells Frank that women want to feel appreciated. Debra begs Frank to apologize to Marie. Back at Ray's, he and Robert are eating cereal, and Robert finds the toy prize. Ray say's it's his and they fight over it.

Debra finally returns from Frank's. Ray tells Marie that she has to go home because Frank needs her. Marie says she won't go back until Frank begs for her forgiveness. Frank walks in and finally "apologizes" by asking Marie to go to the store with him.
