Andy, in search of some credibility, gets a part in a play with Sir Ian McKellen. But when he finds out that the play - 'A Month of Summers', is a tale of love between men, he's uncomfortable with the part. He feels even less comfortable when some of his old school friends come to see the play.

  • Andy: Idiot.
    Agent: You talking to me?
Andy: Yes, I'm talking to you! Didn't you read the play?
    Agent: What play?
Andy: The play I'm in, the play that you got me a part in. It's a gay play. I've got to play a gay, with another gay. Acting all gay. All through the play, it's so gay!

  • (Andy is involved in a scene in which Ian McKellen is physically holding Andy's head while another male character is attempting to kiss him)
    Andy: It's like bloody Deliverance...

Deliverance is a 1972 film that is shot primarily in the rivers and woods of Appalachia. In the film's most psychologically terrifying sequence a sexually-perverted Appalachian native humiliates the character of Bobby (a chubby-faced, defenceless man). He forces the man to first strip down to his underwear. He then makes Bobby squeal like a pig before sodomising him.
