Not given a chance to find its audience. hide « show »

A gritty show that would be better appreciated today with the popularity of The Sopranos (a few actors, including Joe Pantoliano, were on both), it was filmed in a muted palette and set in an un-named city (like Detroit?) near the Canadian border that has seen brighter days. It had wonderful music from Loreena McKennitt and Caroline Lavelle and a well-rounded cast of TV regulars (Ken Olin and Jason Gedrick) and excellent character actors such as Mike Starr and Cold Cases's John Finn.
Only the two hour pilot and eight other episodes ever aired.
