On the first Christmas that Faith and her husband Tim McGraw had with their oldest daughter Gracie, Tim wrote a special note for Faith and put it in her stocking. He also wrote a letter for Gracie, and now every Christmas, he writes individual stocking letters for Faith and their three daughters. "I can't put into words how much that means to me," Faith has said. (edit) In February 2007, the Hollywood Hills home of Faith Hill and husband, Tim McGraw, was burgled. The stars were not home at the time. An unspecified amount of money was stolen. (edit) Faith has three daughters with husband Tim McGraw: Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. Faith: (in 2007) I grew up asking for everything under the sun for Christmas, but I knew I wasn't going to get it all, and my husband and I make sure that our girls realize that, too. We don't buy them lavish gifts; last year, glitter markers were a big hit. We are raising our girls to understand the true meaning of the season, and to know that the most important thing is having Christmas in your heart. (edit) Faith: One time, my 5-year-old daughter Audrey said, "Mom, I'm going to know how much I love you even after I die." Tears starting rolling down my face, and I was like, "Does she know something I don't?" It was so powerful. Forget about all my other problems. They are meaningless. (edit) Faith Hill: (about her kids wanting e-mail accounts, cell phones, and such) They beg. And we'll say, "There's no reason you need that." It's hard. We're not trying to deprive our children, but to instill in them patience, logical thinking, and caution. (edit) Faith: (about husband Tim McGraw) I'm all for the girls going crazy and going goo-goo ga-ga over him, but when another woman grabs my husband's privates? Hello! I don't think so! Hands off! You know what I'm saying? (edit) Faith (On her reaction to Carrie Underwood winning female vocalist of the year in 2006): The idea that I would act disrespectful towards a fellow musician is unimaginable to me. For this to become a focus of attention given the talent gathered is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving Female Vocalist of The Year. (edit)
