When Uncle Bill's (Gary Cole) plans for a perfect Christmas in New York City for the first time with the kids are thrown into disarray after the kids come down with the flu, he enlists the help of his friend (guest star Johnny Whitaker - the original Jody) to play Santa Claus to surprise the twins (Sasha Pieterse and Jimmy "Jax" Pinchak). Meanwhile, Mr. French (Tim Curry) meets an extremely chatty traveler (guest star Kathy Garver - the original Cissy) while waiting for his flight to England.

Mr. French: Sorry, sir, I tend to be overly frank when caffienated. (edit) Buffy: Mrs. Beasley is going to be sick, too.
Mr. French: Then I arrived in the nick of time, child. (edit) Sissy: Uncle Bill, as sick as I am, I'd rather be me than you tonight. (edit) Kevin: Sick kid? What's he got?
Uncle Bill: Wishes for Santa. (edit) Mr. French: Good lord! You're going to let him vomit into the Waterford crystal?
Uncle Bill: You want to volunteer your pants' pockets? (edit)
