Near the end of the episode when the "Top Man" is driving the nail in the box you can see that actually the nail is a screw with a Phillips head. (edit) In this episode, Quagmire stated that he could have kids in their twenties. One such kid was shown in Madrid, Spain as a spanish-speaking Quagmire. However, in one of the older episodes, Quagmire said during Trisha Takanawa's special report on sex that he's "never had a Spanish chick before." Granted that the Spanish Quagmire was his kid, this was a direct contradiction to that episode. (edit) In the Star Trek gag, Picard (Patrick Stewart) referred to Worf as "Commander Worf", but Worf was a Lieutenant in the TV series. He didn't become a Commander until the first TNG movie. (edit) Due to the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina, this episode was changed to become the fall premiere. Perfect Castaway was originally scheduled, but it had hurricane references, so it was moved a few weeks later. (edit)

Ferris Bueller's Day Off

When Brian meets Shauna, they play a song in the background about Shauna, just like the scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off when Jeanie Bueller is talking to the boy in the police station, saying some people call her Shauna. (edit) A Bronx Tale

Rocky Dennis was boy afflicted with a bone disease that severely disfigured his face and most prominently his forehead. He was portrayed in the movie Mask. This reference is apparently due to Commander Worfs cranial ridges. (edit) Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

The song "James Woods" is a parody of the song "You Two" from the movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." As a matter of fact, it's prettymuch "You Two" with the only difference in the lyrics being "James Woods" as opposed to "you two." (edit) Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a black civil rights activist who inspired millions. He was assassinated in 1968 outside of his motel in Memphis. (edit)
