After four Italian-American brothers (Frankie, Dominic, Anthony, and Ronnie) all suffer personal setbacks, they move back home to Brooklyn to live with their widowed mother, Theresa. Rounding out the family was Therea's brother, Father Angelo, on hand to dispense advice that wasn't always so great, but still better than that of Philamena, a neighborhood fortune teller.
