Lamenting Television's Week of Losses
It's been a tough week for television. In between the deaths of Ed McMahon on Tuesday and Billy Mays on Sunday, both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson left us on Thursday. Celebrity deaths tend to come in twos and threes, but the departure of this foursome was particularly dramatic because together they tell us a lot about how TV has evolved as a result of their influence.

Ryan O'Neal and son arrested
Bones actor Ryan O'Neal and his son, Redmond, were arrested today after an early-morning police raid of their Malibu home. The pair were taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine, a highly addictive (and very gross) Schedule II controlled substance, and released on $10,000 bail each.

I see her first as a model then actress. She was impressive on Charlie's Angels. Logan's Run is a favorite Sci-Fi movie of mine where she played a small part. I understand that the Burning Bed was a high point for her, but I dislike Drama and never saw it. Also, she was not acting with her looks being the focus. That is rare from someone with her background. Farrah doesn't show her age at all! I wish her the best in her recovery from cancer. I hope people haven't rated her here because of the spelling getting them lost :(
