    Celebrity contestants are repeatedly dunked head-first in water, locked in a small pod and given electric shocks, and put on a driving course where they will have to crash through a shed and over a hillside. Fear Factor travels to Chicago, Illinois for a Home Invasion.

    Season 6, Episode 21 – Aired: 9/6/2006

    Ex Factor

    This episode featured four ex-couples competing as teams.

    Stunt #1 (Boat lean & grab) Teams would have to cross 12-inch wide balance beams on top of a moving boat. The men would be on one balance beam holding a rope while the women would be across from them on another balance beam holding the other end of the rope. As they crossed the beams, the women would have to lean out and grab six flags along the way while the men supported them with the rope. The team to get the most flags the fastest before falling into the water would get to pick which team they wanted to eliminate.

    Stunt #2 (Scorpion Helmet Spin) Both team members would be strapped to a wheel with their heads inside Plexiglas boxes containing 75 emperor scorpions. When the wheel began to rotate, they would have to have to pick up scorpions off the ground and put the scorpions in their boxes. The team to collect the least number of scorpions in two minutes would be eliminated.

    Stunt #3 (Freeway car swap) Both team members would be in cars on the back of flatbed semi trucks as they barreled down a freeway. They would have to back their cars down the ramps of the flatbeds, plow through barricades and water barrels, negotiate through swerving traffic, and drive their car onto the bed of the opposite truck than they started on. The team to complete this stunt fastest would be the Ex Factor Fear Factor Champions.

    Home Invasion Stunt (Eat roaches) Competing in this stunt would be the Spenson family of Attleboro, Massachusetts. Five family members would each have to eat a Madagascar hissing cockroach in order to receive a key. Two of these keys would open one of two treasure chests, each containing a $2,500 Capital One credit card. They would get to keep the cards they unlocked in the one-minute time limit.

    Season 6, Episode 20 – Aired: 9/5/2006

    Farm Fear Factor

    This episode featured four teams competing in farm themed stunts. Stunt #1 (Pigsty transfer) Both team members would be locked in pigsties. They would have to crawl on their hands and knees, pushing past pigs to get to a trough of slop where they would have to bob for pig tongues and feet. When they retrieved a pig part, they would have to crawl with it in their mouths to a bucket on the other side of sty and drop the part in the bucket. Each team member would have to transfer three pig parts. The team to transfer six pig parts slowest would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Chicken Rotisserie in a Basket) Both team members would be strapped back-to-back on a board that rotated end-over-end through a tank of animal lard. While under the lard, they would have to grab frozen chickens and toss them into a basket when they resurfaced. The team to get the most chickens in the basket in two minutes would win a $10,000 flight credit from Orbitz.com and a Seven-day all inclusive trip to Maliá Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Stunt #3 (Tractor drag) One team member would be handcuffed in a tank as it filled with rotten milk. The other team member would be shackled by their ankles and dragged behind tractor as it sprayed them with fertilizer. The person being dragged behind the tractor would have to roll continuously to unscrew the shackles and get free. Once free, they would have to run to the milk tank and unlock their partner’s handcuffs to stop the time. The team to complete this stunt fastest would be the Farm Fear Factor Champions. Home Invasion Stunt (Eat tarantulas) Competing in this stunt would be the Rivera family of Bronx, New York. Two family members would each have to eat a cooked tarantula. Each tarantula consumed in one minute would be worth $2,500 from Capital One.

    Season 6, Episode 18 – Aired: 8/22/2006

    Disaster Fear Factor

    This episode featured four teams competing in natural disaster themed stunts. Stunt #1 (Hurricane ledge walk) While being blasted with 80 MPH wind and water, one team member would be strapped to the side of a building over 100 feet in the air. The other teammate would have to scale the ledge on the side of building and cut the five straps holding their partner in place to send them flying off the ledge. Time would stop when the second person went off the ledge. The team to complete this stunt fastest would get to choose which team would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Radiation Roach Transfer) Both team members would have to retrieve a total of 10 Madagascar hissing cockroaches from a tank of green sludge using only their mouths. They would then have to eat all the roaches they retrieved. The team to do this fastest would win $25,000 from Progressive Direct. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #3 (Flash flood) One team member would have to walk upstream against a torrent of water raging down an artificial river bed, collecting four flags along the way. They would have to hand the flags off to their partner, who would then continue up the river collecting five more flags. The team to get the most flags in the fastest time would be the Disaster Fear Factor Champions. Home Invasion Stunt (Stink beetle transfer) Competing in this week’s Home Invasion would be the Frederickson family of Hagerstown, Maryland. Four family members would have to transfer live stink beetles from bowls to a cylinder using only their mouths. They would have one minute. The cylinder was marked with two lines. If they filled it to the first line they would win a $2,500 Capital One credit card. If they filled it to the second line they would win a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

    Season 6, Episode 17 – Aired: 8/8/2006

    Old vs. Young

    The episode featured two older couples competing against two younger couples. Stunt #1 (Rooftop tug-o-war) Opposing teams of the same age group would be standing across from each other on the rooftops of buildings over 100 feet high. In a game of tug-of-war, one team would have to pull the opposing team off the edge of their building and into the gap between the buildings. The winning team of each match would advance to the next round. The losing teams would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Roach Cage Escape) The men would be handcuffed and shackled by their ankles into a chair, and the women would be locked in a pit of Madagascar hissing cockroaches. The men would have to chew through cow and pig intestines on the side of the chair to release the handcuff keys. Once they had unlocked the handcuffs and unscrewed the shackles on their ankles, the men would have to use a key to unlock the door on the roach pit. Time would stop when the women grabbed a flag hanging adjacent to the roach pit. The team with the fastest time would win a trip to Universal Orlando or Universal Studios Hollywood and $20,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt # 3 (Flatbed drive-up) Teams would have drive a car up onto the back of a moving flatbed semi truck. The driver’s hands would be restrained, so the driver would work the pedals while the passenger steered. While one team was driving, the opposing team would be standing on top of the truck throwing traffic barrels, trashcans, and tires at the car. The team to stop their car on the bed of the truck bed in the fastest time would be the Old vs. Young Fear Factor Champions. Home Invasion Stunt (Sour beetle shots) Competing in this stunt would be the Schultz family of Bunker Hill, West Virginia. Five family members would have to drink shots of blended sour milk and stink beetles. Once someone finished their shot, they would pick up a key off the table and try to open one of two treasure chests, each containing a $2,500 credit card from Capital One. They would have one minute to complete this stunt.

    Season 6, Episode 16 – Aired: 8/1/2006

    BK Viewers' Choice Episode

    This episode featured four co-ed teams selected by the viewers through an online poll sponsored by Burger King. Stunt #1 (Mud pit launch) One person would be launched over a farmhouse into a mud pit. Once in the pit, they would have to dig for a box containing a saw and saw a rope in half. This would allow their partner to be launched into a mud pit on the opposite side of the farm house. Their partner would have to search the mud for a box containing a metal wand. The time would stop when they used to wand to ring a dinner bell. The team to complete this stunt slowest would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Junkyard Canine Attack) Partners would be wearing padded suits adjoined at one arm. They would have to run through a junkyard, retrieve three hubcaps, and put them in the bed of a truck. Each time they tried to retrieve a hubcap, two trained attack dogs would attempt to stop them. For their first hubcap they would have to climb over a car, for their second hubcap they would have to go through a bus, and for their third hubcap they would have to run through a tire maze. For safety reasons, there was a two minute time limit for each attempt. The two teams to get the most hubcaps in the fastest time would advance to the next round. The other team would be eliminated. Stunt #3 (Bus explosion) Competing head-to-head, the men would start on top of a hanging bus while the women dangled underneath. The men would have to climb under the bus, lower the women to the ground, and then climb down themselves. Once at the bottom, partners would have to unhook each other’s harnesses and run to a sand pile. At the sand pile, they would have to dig for pieces of a plunger and assemble them. Once they had assembled the plunger, they would use it drop the bus to the ground and blow it up. The team to blow up the bus would be the Fear Factor Champions. Home Invasion Stunt (Maggot milkshake) Competing in this stunt would be the Harmon family of Portland, Oregon. Two family members would have one minute drink a shake consisting of blended maggots and rotten cheese. If they could finish the shake in the time limit, they would win a $5,000 credit card from Capital One.

    Season 6, Episode 15 – Aired: 7/25/2006

    Fire Fear Factor

    This episode featured four teams of best friends competing in fire themed stunts for $50,000. Stunt #1 (Fire hose cargo net) Both team members would have to climb a cargo net beneath a helicopter, release up to ten flags, and drop into the water below. While they were doing this, two members of an opposing team would be standing on a fire boat blasting them with high powered water cannons. The team to get the most flags the fastest would win two portable XM Satellite Radios and $20,000 cash. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Fire Torch Toss & Drink) Each team member would have to drink up to three shots of blended habanero peppers. The number of shots they drank would represent the number of flares they would receive. After drinking, they would have try and toss the flares they earned into flaming barrels. The team to toss the least flares into the barrels would be eliminated. Stunt #3 (Flaming slide and ice platform) Team members would have to slide down a high waterslide lined with fire, swim underneath a plastic platform, and get on top of the platform by finding a hole and swimming up through it. Once on top of the plastic, both team members would have to dig through ice to find a valve to put on a rack with four nozzles. Once they had found a valve, they would have to go back to the top of the slide, break a glass container to retrieve two more valves, slide down, swim under the plastic and up through the hole, and put the valves on the nozzles. Once all four valves were placed on the nozzles, the flames would extinguish and the time would stop. The team to complete his stunt fastest would be the Fear Factor Champions and win $50,000. Home Invasion Stunt (Balut eggs) Competing in this stunt would be the Dodge Center Fire Station of Rochester, Minnesota. Five firefighters would have one minute to eat five balut eggs, which contain underdeveloped duck embryos. For each egg they could finish in the time limit, they would win $1,000 from Capital One.

    Season 6, Episode 14 – Aired: 7/18/2006

    Military Fear Factor

    This episode featured four co-ed teams from four different branches of the military competing onboard the U.S.S. Hornet aircraft carrier in California. Stunt #1 (Cargo net launch) Both team members would be yanked off the deck to a cargo net hanging from a helicopter 100 feet in the air. Both team members would have to release 10 flags from their side of the net and drop into the water below to stop the time. The team to get the most flags or complete this stunt fastest would get to choose which team to eliminate. Stunt #2 (Military Crate Drop) Teams would have to cut a rope and pull down a net containing three crates. They would have to untie the net and move to crates to predetermined spots on the floor. They would have open the largest crate containing boa snakes and unscrew a bolt cutter and crowbar from the bottom of the crate. They would then have to use these to open the other two crates, one containing a thermos with swamp water and leeches and the other containing a lunchbox of pig uterus, chicken feet, and rotten fish. The time would stop when they were done consuming these items. The team to complete this stunt fastest would $20,000 from Ameriquest Mortgage Company. The slowest team would be eliminated. Stunt #3 (Van launch) Teams would have to climb on top of a van racing down the runway of the aircraft carrier. They would have to unscrew grenades from the top of the van and hang on to them. The team to collect the most grenades before the van went over the side of the aircraft carrier would be Military Fear Factor Champions. Home Invasion Stunt (Fear Factor sausages) Competing in stunt would be the Barnes family of Louisville, Kentucky. Five family members would have one minute to consume four Fear Factor sausages, two containing stink beetles and two containing maggots. For each sausage that was consumed, they would win $1,250 from Capital One.

    Season 6, Episode 13 – Aired: 7/11/2006

    Family Fear Factor #3

    The episode featured four parent-child teams competing at Universal Studios Orlando. Stunt #1 (Helicopter jump zip line) The parents would have to jump out of a helicopter 200 feet over a lagoon. Once in the water, they would have to climb up onto a platform and pull a lever to send their child racing down a zip line. The parents would then have to swim to a buoy, collect a flag, and then free their children from the zip line harness. Both parent and child would have to swim back to the platform and both would have to post flags to stop the time. The team to complete this stunt slowest would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Stationary Electric Fish Bike) The parents would have to peddle a stationary bike that shot dead fish at their children. The children would be wearing large plastic overalls in which they would have to catch the fish that were flying at them. While the parents were peddling the bike, they would receive periodic electric shocks what would increase in intensity as time went on. The team to collect the most weight in fish within the time limit would win the Fear Factor Unleashed video game and $20,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #3 (Dr. Doom ride flag grab) Parents would have to stand on a beam 200 feet in the air and swing their child out to grab hanging flags. Once the child had collected all the flags, the parent would have to jump off the beam to stop the time. The team to complete this stunt fastest would get to choose which team to eliminate. Stunt #4 (Van obstacle course) The parent would be driving a van through a narrow barricaded obstacle course while their child stood on top of the van and grabbed hanging flags. Along the way they would go over bumps, have buckets of slime and lard dumped on them, and be hit by high pressure water hoses and foam blowers. The team to collect all four flags and drive through the box wall at the end of the course fastest would win the $50,000 and be Family Fear Factor Champions. Home Invasion Stunt (Bobbing in fish) Competing in this stunt would be the Castillo family of Las Vegas, Nevada. One person would have one minute bob for up to five rotten fish in a tank of fish sauce and put the fish in the hands of family members. For each fish they retrieved in the time limit, they would win $1,000 from Capital One.

    Reality Stars Fear Factor (3)

    This episode was part 3 of 3 in a series featuring five co-ed teams of contestants featured on reality shows competing for a grand prize of $150,000. Stunt #5 (Spider Dive) The women would be locked to a sled by their wrists, waist, and ankles and the men would have to turn a crank to send the sled through a tunnel. The sled would stop at three points. At each stop, the men would have to search through a tank of ice for canisters and the women would have to retrieve a key hanging from the tunnel with their teeth while tarantulas and crickets were dumped on them. When the men retrieved the canisters from the ice tank, they would have to pry them open, get a key, and use the key to unlock a lock to send the sled further into the tunnel. After unlocking the third lock, they would have to crank the sled back to the tunnel entrance and use the keys the women had retrieved to unlock their restraints. The team to complete this stunt fastest would win two Tivo’s with lifetime service and $20,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #6 (Hanging car ball toss) Partners would be standing on the backs of cars suspended from cranes over 100 feet in the air. As the cars moved father apart, one team member would toss balls to their partner who would have to catch the balls and clip them on to their belt. After 90 seconds, the cars would be released, collide in mid-air, and fall to the ground. The team to transfer the most balls in the time limit would be Reality Stars Fear Factor Champions and win $150,000. Home Invasion Stunt (Fish and squid transfer) Competing in this stunt would be the Rooney and O’Shea families of Delafield, Wisconsin. Two members of each family would team up and transfer gross items including rotten fish, rotten squid, and rotten cheese from a box to a bowl using only their mouths. The family to transfer the most weight in one minute would win a $4,000 Capital One credit card. The other family would win a $1,000 credit card for playing.

    Reality Stars Fear Factor (2)

    This episode was part 2 of 3 in a series featuring five co-ed teams of contestants featured on reality shows competing for a grand prize of $150,000. Stunt # 3 (Burning houseboat rescue) Teams would start out with the men driving a jet ski toward a burning house boat with the women being towed behind. Both partners would have to jump off the jet ski at a buoy, one would have to retrieve a fire extinguisher, and they would both have to swim to the boat and climb aboard. Once on board, they would have to use the fire extinguisher to extinguish the flames on deck, bust through the screen door, retrieve a dummy from the living room, bust out of the back door, carry the dummy to the roof, and board a helicopter. The helicopter would fly them to a raft where they would have to jump out of the helicopter, put the dummy in the raft, and swim the raft to shore. Once on shore, they would have to carry the dummy to an ambulance and put the dummy in the ambulance. The team to complete this stunt fastest would in a pair of 3D DI Sea-Doo jet skis. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #4 (Submerged Bug Box) The women would be locked in an airtight Plexiglas box with Madagascar hissing cockroaches, worms, stink beetles, and maggots. The box would be held down by four ropes. The men would have to swim underwater with wire cutters, clip the sting on each rope, and pull a lever to release the rope. The time would stop when all four wires were cut the box surfaced. The team to complete this stunt slowest would be eliminated. Home Invasion Stunt (Bobbing in scorpions) Competing in this stunt would be the Frederick family of Simi Valley, California. One family member would have to use their mouth to transfer five emperor scorpions from a box into a bucket. Once the scorpions were transferred, a second family member would have to drink a glass of blended scorpions, stink beetles, and rotten cheese. If they could transfer the scorpions in one minute, they would win a $2,500 Capital One credit card. If they could transfer the scorpions and drink the shake in one minute, they would win a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

    Season 6, Episode 10 – Aired: 6/13/2006

    Reality Stars Fear Factor (1)

    This episode was part 1 of 3 in a series featuring five co-ed teams of contestants featured on reality shows competing for a grand prize of $150,000. Stunt #1 (Demolition Derby) With one partner driving a car and the other shifting the gears, teams would have to drive a lap around a racetrack and then drive their cars to the center of the track where they would to ram each other until only one car was left in commission. The first team to knock a flag over at the end of the racetrack would win $5,000. The winning team of the demolition derby would get to choose an 8-Day African Safari to Kenya or a pass on the next elimination stunt. The winning team would have to give the prize they did not choose to another team of their choice. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Swamp Course) Teams would have to navigate an obstacle course in a swamp to collect three skulls. First, the women would have to descend into a well and retrieve a skull from the murky water while the men used a rope to help them out of the well. Next, the men would have to crawl through deep mud to retrieve a skull, and the women would use a rope to pull them back to shore. Both team members would then have to row a boat across the swamp and the women would have to crawl into a dark tunnel with an alligator and retrieve the last skull. The team would then have to row the boat back to shore and place the skulls on three posts. The team to complete this stunt the slowest would be eliminated. Home Invasion Stunt (Bobbing in lard) Competing in this week’s Home Invasion would be Sazinsky family of Bristol, Connecticut. One family member would have to retrieve pig feet with their mouth from a tub of lard and transfer the feet to another family member who would spit them into a bucket. If they could transfer five pig feet in one minute, they would a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

    Season 6, Episode 9 – Aired: 2/7/2006

    Freaks and Geeks

    This episode featured four co-ed teams of freaks and geeks. Stunt #1 (Chair launch and helicopter hang) The women would be sitting on a spring loaded chair and be launched off a barge into the water. They would have to swim to a platform, retrieve a flag, and then swim to jet ski. The men, who would be hanging by their ankles under a helicopter, would lower a rope to the women and the women would grab the rope and be lifted off the jet ski. The helicopter would then fly them back to the platform where they would have to drop into the water, climb onto the platform, and post the flag for time. The team to complete this stunt slowest would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Alligator Frog Box) Both partners would be sitting in a tank submerged up to their necks in water. Small alligators would be swimming around under the water and frogs would be covering the plastic platform on top of the water. The women would have to retrieve a plastic disc with their mouth, pass it to their partner, and their partner would have to drop the disc into the water and catch it with their hand. They would then have to pass the disc back to the women by hand and the women would have to put it in a box. The team to transfer the most chips in the two minute time limit would win $20,000 and a trip to Universal Orlando or Universal Studios Hollywood. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #3 (ATV Launch) One person would have to jump out of a helicopter, retrieve a key from a buoy, and swim to a pier. Their partner standing on the pier would use a fishing pole to retrieve the key, and then they would have to run down the pier, start an ATV with the key, and drive it off the end of the pier. The team to complete this stunt fastest would be the Freaks and Geeks Fear Factor Champions. Home Invasion Stunt (Alabama roadkill stew) Competing in this stunt would be the Economy family of Owen’s Crossroads, Alabama. Since the only person at home old enough to compete was the mom, she would have to eat a bowl of rotten cheese, stink beetles, and various mystery meats. If she could eat the whole bowl in one minute, she would win a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

    Season 6, Episode 8 – Aired: 1/31/2006

    Mothers & Sons

    This episode featured four mother/son pairs competing as teams.

    Stunt#1 (Shoulder stand) The sons would be walking sideways along a ledge over 100 feet in the air, stepping over obstacles along the way. Their mothers would be standing on their shoulders and collecting up to 7 flags from a Plexiglas wall. The team that collected the most flags before falling would get to choose which team would be eliminated.

    Stunt #2 (Mother’s Kitchen) Teams would have to bob in hair-clogged sinks and remove the hair clogging the drains using their mouths. Once both partners found keys in the in the clumps of hair, they would use them to unlock a cabinet full of snapping African Tree Boas. They would both have to reach into the cabinet, unscrew a key, and use it to unlock a can containing 4 or 5 scorpions. They would then use can openers to open the cans, dump the scorpions into a bowl, and transfer them by mouth into another bowl. Once they had transferred all the scorpions, they would have to get a bottle of rotten milk out of a refrigerator, suck it up with straws, and spit it into a cylinder. Time would stop when they filled the cylinder to a designated point. The team to complete this stunt the fastest would win one year of mortgage paid by Ameriquest. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

    Stunt #3 (Car to semi) Mothers would be driving a car while sons rode shotgun. They would have to drive the car under the trailer of a moving semi truck and secure it in place. Once the car was secured, they would have both have to climb through the sunroof into the trailer of the truck and grab a ring of flags. They would then have to open the back of the truck and scale the side, clipping their flags to rings. The team to post all their flags fastest would be the Mother/Son Fear Factor Champions.

    Home Invasion Stunt (Blended worm & fish transfer) Competing in this week’s Home Invasion would be the Horton family of Ontario, California. Two family members would have to transfer blended night crawlers, super worms, and rotten fish heads from a bowl to a cylinder. They would have one minute. The cylinder was marked with two lines. If they filled it to the first line they would win a $2,500 Capital One credit card. If they filled it to the second line they would win a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

    Season 6, Episode 7 – Aired: 1/24/2006

    Teams #2

    This episode featured four co-ed pairs competing as teams.

    Stunt #1 (Helicopter platform transfer) Both team members would have to leap back and forth between two platforms hanging from helicopters, each person transferring up to 10 flags from one platform to the other and then jumping in the water below. The three teams get highest flag total would advance to the next round. The team with the least flags would be eliminated.

    Stunt #2 (Fear Factor Barber Shop) One team member would be seated in a barber chair and their partner would spin them. When the chair stopped, they would have to get whichever haircut their head was pointing to. The options were Mohawk, bald spot, patches, the taco, sideways Mohawk, and bald. Teams would advance to the finals if both members got their designated haircuts.

    Stunt #3 (Exploding container) As a crane lifted a large container to 200 feet in the air, both team members would have to climb rope ladders hanging from the container. Once they reached the container, they would both have to scale a narrow ledge on the side, collect two Allen wrenches, and climb another ladder to the top. Once on top, they would have to use the wrenches to unscrew hatches and climb down into the container. When they were both inside, they would have to touch two pieces of a livewire together in order to blow themselves out of the container and into the water below. The team to complete this stunt the fastest would be the Fear Factor Champions.

    Home Invasion Stunt (Stink beetle transfer) Competing in this week’s Home Invasion would be the Kutz family of Memphis, Tennessee. Two family members would have to take turns using their mouths to transfer stink beetles from one bowl to another. If they could transfer all the stink beetles in one minute, they would win a $5,000 Capital One Credit Card.

    Psycho Fear Factor (3)

    This episode was part 3 of 3 in a series featuring six couples staying at the Bates Motel from the movie Psycho and competing on the set where the movie was filmed for a grand prize of $250,000.

    At the end of the last episode, the couples were unpleasantly surprised when thousands of Madagascar hissing cockroaches came crawling out of the holes in the walls. At the beginning of this episode, they were informed that whichever couple could collect the most roaches and keep them alive until morning would win a prize.

    Stunt #1 (Eat the Camel Spider) Both partners would be bound in straight jackets and have to work together to get free as fast as possible. But first, each person would be given the opportunity to eat two live Iraqi Camel Spiders, each worth 30 seconds off their time, giving each couple the chance to deduct up to two minutes off their time. The couple to take the longest escaping from the straight jackets would be eliminated.

    Stunt #2 (Psycho House explosion) Racing head-to-head, the women would be in an upstairs room of the Psycho House unscrewing caps from sticks of dynamite and tossing them out the window. Meanwhile, the men would be outside assembling detonators. The first man to get his detonator assembled would attach a wire to it and use it blow up the Psycho house and send the women hurtling through the air. The man who got the detonator assembled first would get an additional two sticks of dynamite. The couple who got the most sticks of dynamite out the window (including the two added ones for fastest time) would be Psycho Fear Factor Champions and win $250,000.

    Home Invasion Stunt (Gulp and grab) Competing in this Home Invasion would be the Scholtz family of Evansville, Indiana. One family member would have their head inside a tank full of dirt and earthworms. Buried in the in tank would be five keychains, each worth $1000. Five family members would be lined up. On go, the first person would have to down a shot of blended worms, nasty cheese, rotten milk, and retrieve a keychain from the tank. The next person in line would repeat the process until all five had gone. The number of keys they could retrieve in one minute would represent the amount of money they would win from Capital One.

    Psycho Fear Factor (2)

    This episode was part 2 of 3 in a series featuring six couples staying at the Bates Motel from the movie Psycho and competing on the set where the movie was filmed for a grand prize of $250,000.

    Stunt #3 (Psycho Shower Rescue) The women would be handcuffed to the showerhead in one of the Bates Motel rooms as blood rained down on them. Outside, the men would have to unscrew an axe from the bottom of an ice chest filled with disgusting slop and use the axe to chop down the door to the room. They would then have to find a key which would be hidden in a vase, a potted plant, a lamp, or a nightstand. Once they had had the key, they would have to chop down the bathroom door and use the key to free their partner from the handcuffs. The couple to complete this stunt fastest would have two options: They could accept a pair of customized bikes from Metropolitan Choppers or be exempt from the next stunt. They would have to give the prize they didn’t choose to another couple. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

    Stunt #4 (Street luge flag snag) The men would be lying on a sled being pulled behind a hearse as a semi truck followed behind. The women would be on the back of the hearse and would have to turn a crank to unwind the cable attached to the sled, getting the men closer to the truck. The men would then have to reach up and grab a flag on a pole jutting from the front of the truck. Once they had the flag, the women would have to tow them back in, take the flag, climb over the hearse, and clip the flag to a flagpole on the hood. The couple with the slowest time would be eliminated. Back at the Bates Motel, the remaining couples would be receiving an unpleasant surprise…

    Home Invasion Stunt (Eat banana slugs) Competing in this Home Invasion would be the Easton family of Queens, New York. Three family members would have one minute to eat four banana slugs between them. If they could do this in the time limit, they would win a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

    Psycho Fear Factor (1)

    This episode was part 1 of 3 in a series featuring six couples staying at the Bates Motel from the movie Psycho and competing on the set where the movie was filmed for a grand prize of $250,000.

    Stunt #1 (Buried alive) This first stunt would take place in front of the infamous Psycho house. Going two couples at a time, the women would be locked in coffins with rats and super worms and be buried under two tons of dirt. The men would have to dig them out using shovels and open the coffins. Once free, the women would have to dig through a pile of dirt and worms to find a key. The three winning couples would automatically advance to the next round and get to vote on which one of the three losing couples would be eliminated.

    Between stunts, the couples would be staying in the Bates Motel. When they checked in, it was not what they were expecting.

    Stunt #2 (Snake Water Escape) In the basement of the Psycho house, both members of each couple would be locked in one side of a divided water tank with 100 snakes. Taking turns, they would have to go under the water and use a knife to cut ropes blocking a hole in the wall between the two sides of the tank. Once enough ropes were cut, both people would have to swim through the hole and surface on the other side of the tank to stop the time. The two slowest couples would be up for elimination. The other three couples would get to vote on who was eliminated.

    Home Invasion Stunt (Bobbing for squid) Competing in week’s Home Invasion would be the Scott family of Orlando, Florida. One family member would have to use their mouth to retrieve five squid from a tank of squid ink and place them in the hands of family members. If they could complete this stunt in one minute, they would win a Capital One credit card worth $5,000.

    Season 6, Episode 3 – Aired: 12/27/2005

    Teams

    This episode featured four pairs competing as teams.

    Stunt #1 (Human cannonball) As a truck drove along a pier with a crane hanging off the side, one team member would hang from the crane and drop into the water when they passed a buoy. They would have to retrieve two flares from the buoy, swim to a platform, and use the flares to light the fuse to giant cannon. Their partner would then be shot out of the cannon and into the water. Once in the water, their partner would swim to a boat, climb aboard, and clip a flag to a flagpole. The team to complete this stunt the fastest would get to choose which team would be eliminated.

    Stunt #2 (Trash Can Scavenger Hunt) Teams would have to dig through two dumpsters to find items including a toaster, a shoe, a gas can, a baseball glove, a hard hat, a tin can, a thermos, and a radio. Another of each item would be hidden among barrels filled with oil, mud, rotten fish parts, and lard. To retrieve the items from the barrels, they would have to unscrew them from the bottom and match them with the corresponding items from the dumpsters. The team to match four items fastest would win a four-day trip to Las Vegas and $20,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

    Stunt #3 (Pavement drag) Both team members would be hanging on to handlebars attached to a helicopter and be dragged across pavement on their stomachs. Along the way, they would crash through three exploding walls and a wall of barrels before coming up to a finish line. They would have to let go as close to the finish line as possible. The team to get the least combined distance from the finish line would be Fear Factor Champions.

    Home Invasion Stunt (Worm wine) Competing in this week’s Home Invasion segment would be the Whitman family of Dubuque, Iowa. One family member would have to grab worms from a bowl and put them in a meat grinder, another family member would have to grind the worms to make the slop spill into a glass, and a third family member would have to drink the slop. If they could do this, they would win a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

    Season 6, Episode 2 – Aired: 12/13/2005

    Blind Date Fear Factor

    This was a special blind date episode. Four single men would be introduced to four single women, and the women would get to pick which man they wanted to be paired up with. The four couples would then compete as teams for the $50,000.

    Stunt #1 (Hanging boat) One partner would be driving a boat across a lake while the other partner would grab a hook hanging from a helicopter and attach it to the boat. The helicopter would then lift the boat out of the water and one person would have to climb onto a cargo net on the underside of the boat, release four flags, and drop into the water. The second partner would then have to do the same. The couple to get the most flags in the fastest time would get to choose which couple would be eliminated.

    Stunt #2 (Crab Dump Escape) Couples would be locked in a large tank filled with 45 degree water and large Dungeness crabs. As more cold water and crabs were pumped into the tank through two pipes, both team members would have to find which of four keys unlocked caps from the floor of the tank and use the caps to plug the pipes. Because of the dangers of hypothermia, there would be a ten-minute time limit for this stunt. The couple to complete this stunt the fastest would win a twelve-day trip for four to Belize. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

    Stunt #3 (Ice box) Couples would be in opposite sides of a Plexiglas box, separated by a wall. As the box filled with 2,000 pounds of ice, one partner would have to collect pegs from their side of the box and transfer them to their partner through a hole in the wall. Their partner would then have to put the pegs in a box. After they had transferred all 52 pegs, they would have to pull a lever that would open the bottom of box and drop them into the water below. The bottom would automatically drop out after two minutes if contestants had not completed the stunt. The couple to transfer the most pegs the fastest would be Blind Date Fear Factor Champions and win $50,000.

    Home Invasion Stunt (Bobbing for hagfish) Competing in this episode’s Home Invasion segment would be the Okolowitcz family of Providence, Rhode Island. Two family members would have to transfer five hagfish from a tank to a bucket using only their mouths. If they could transfer five hagfish in one minute, they would win a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

    Heist Fear Factor

    This episode featured four co-ed pairs competing for keys to an armored car containing $1 Million in gold. In addition to the money, the winning team would also win a trip to Universal Studios Orlando.

    Stunt #1 (Helicopter cargo net) As a helicopter flew 400 feet above a lake at 90 miles per hour, the men would have to climb out onto a cargo net hanging off the back, collect four flags from the net, climb back up into the helicopter, and collect a final flag. The women would then have to do the same. The three teams to get the highest total of flags in the fastest time would receive a key for the armored car. The team to get the least flags would be eliminated.

    Stunt #2 (Tunnel Escape) While chained together, partners would have to make their way through a ventilation system. While crawling through the shafts, they would have to make their way through rats, spider webs with tarantulas, raw sewage, and complete darkness. At two points in the tunnel they would have to pull levers to extinguish fires blocking their paths. The two teams to complete this stunt fastest would earn their second keys and advance to the finals. The slowest team would be eliminated.

    Stunt #3 (Underwater heist) After receiving their third keys, teams would compete head-to-head removing $12,500 gold bricks and $100 gold coins from the submerged armored car. The men would have to open the door to the car so the women could use the keys to unlock lockers containing gold coins. The men would collect gold bars from the truck while the women collected gold coins. Only one member of each team could be in the car at a time. The team to collect the most money in ten minutes would get to keep that money, win the trip to Universal Studios Orlando, and be Heist Fear Factor Champions.

    Home Invasion Stunt (Boa cage) Competing in this episode’s Home Invasion segment would be the Mosley family of Tempe, Arizona. Two family members would have to reach into a box of biting Amazon Tree Boas and unscrew nuts from screws on the bottom of the cage to free keys. Both family members would then have to use those keys to unlock a box containing a $2,500 Capital One credit card. They would have one minute to complete this stunt.
