To cutieflutie: Don't you think that maybe Penn was joking when he called Kristi a cheater? Anyway, if she is chosen for the show and just happens to have the most ability, how does that make her a cheater? Marissa Winokur is a Broadway star who sings and dances on stage. Mario is a singer who also dances on stage. They both have most actual "dance" background than Kristi so why are you calling her a cheater?

In response to gamesmi: I totally I agree! I think you misunderstood my comment. I wasn't actually saying I really think Mario should be disqualified. I was responding to linda31857's comment that Kristi should be disqualified, and in response I said that if anyone should be disqualified (and in parentheses you'll see I said which I DON'T BELIEVE at all), it'd be Mario, not Kristi. But no one's had ballroom experience, like you noted, so no one should be disqualified.

I wish I could go on the show... but A) I'm not a celebrity and B) I've been taking ballroom since January. But it looks like so much fun and I wish I could dance all day instead of being stuck in an office! lol. But at least I have dance lessons 4 evenings a week - I added second private lesson each week to get my rumba routine down for our Showcase in May! I'm so excited

in response to zzilly14, Mario should not be disqualified because Mario is a hip-hop dancer NOT a ballroom dancer. He doesn't know ballroom that's why he's on the show. He's not a professional and doesn't do dances like the Cha-Cha and the Jive and the Quickstep. That's all new to him so he should not be disqualified. 'Nuff said.

there are a lot of good dancers this time but my favorite is Marlee. She cannot hear the music but she is perfect. pricilla nevers smiles & last week when her partner put his arm around she kept knocking it off. Very rude.

I forgot to mention Priscilla as one of my faves. But I think pretty much everyone left in the competition has done really well (even Adam improved a lot last week... but I think he might be the next to go).

In response to linda, Kristi should not be disqualified. She has had ICE SKATING experience, which I think helps, but she's never done ballroom. And she's certainly not perfect (she could've gotten into the emotional aspect better in last week's tango). If anyone should be disqualified (which I don't believe at all) would be Mario because he's had hip hop dance experience.

Anyway, my faves are Kristi, Marlee, Mario, and Jason. They all have done exceptionally well at just learning ballroom (yes Mario didn't do as well last week, but he didn't have enough time to practice the routine! His own fault, but doesn't make him any less talented at it).

Kristi is a great dancer, but she does have the advantage over the stars that have never danced. She should be disqualified.

Kristi Yamaguchi rules!I'm so rooting for her.I think she might win.I hope she does cause a woman needs to win this thing as a woman hasn't won Dancing with the Stars since season one.If I had to pick a second choice it be that deaf actress cause she's pretty good too and she inspires deaf kids to dance too which I think is good.

I agree with Penn: Kristi Yamaguchi is a cheater.

She's a professional figure skater! She's practiced elegance, balance, flexibility, turns and spins, etc. all of her life. Totally unfair.
