who the heck is Nina Dobrev?? Anna should have won, she portrayed TWO different personalities on Fringe and she does it perfectly, even down to the walk. She should have won :(
If that's your rational than Nina Dobrev does deserve it since she's been playing two radically different characters on The Vampire Diaries for three years and does it better than anyone else on television (to the point where it feels like Kat/Elena are played by different people).

Claire Danes was the best. She was so good that I think Claire Danes might just be that crazy. Everybody else is good too, even though I can't really agree with Nina winning.

I was going to pick Anna Torv, because of how amazing she is as so many different "characters" on Fringe... but then I saw Claire Danes name.
Homeland is an extremely good show, made so by the deft writers and adept actors. Claire Danes had me on the edge of my seat when she started to sink into her sickness on Homeland. Damien Lewis and her turned in outstanding performances. So, this one was definitely an easy choice for me.
On a funny note: It was the "science" that got me into Fringe, and it was the intrigue/mystery that got me into Homeland; but, I've found myself caring about both show's unexpected romances so much that I could see myself turning in each week just for those.

I wholeheartedly agree with e. Nina over Anna Torv are u kidding us, there should be credit given for talent. When an actor like Nimoy and John Noble say what an amazing actor she is you have to be real and acknowlege what is so obvious.
