Clearly not up on their homework here... Sean Bean is more well known, but Peter Dinklage won an emmy of best supporting drama actor, why is he not up here instead of Bean... ***SPOILER*** Bean doesn't even make it through the whole first season!! I want a recount with Peter Dinklage, and Charlie Hunnam from SOA.
Damian Lewis should be on this list for Homeland. And Life, in prior years.
Bryan Cranston for sure. Sean Bean was great too though, and Michael C. Hall is always good even though it was a creatively rough year for the show and the character.
Ian Somerhalder should be up for Best Dramatic Actor too.

Seriously though, can you pick more than one? This category is packed full of AMAZING talent.
I'm kind of cheating here. I picked Noble (who IS amazing as Walter Bishop) because Fringe is NOT getting the love in these polls. Cranston and Olyphamt are top-notch as well, but everyone already knows that.
Hall is always good, but Dexter has definitely been lacking lately. Bean is... well, I can't comment because I'm still in shock from what happened (though I had read the books and knew it was coming).

I'd like to offer my two cents to this poll. Though I haven't seen every show on this poll, and therefore all of the great actors, I am going to vouch for just one: Bryan. Cranston.
This man's acting is a tour-de-force of nothing I have ever seen before. Not just television or film or theatre. Cranston delivers in Breaking Bad what is, without a doubt in my mind, one of the finest performances to ever grace all of ENTERTAINMENT.
Don't get me wrong, I respect all of these other actors just as much as their fans, but... there should be no competition in this poll.

Michael C. Hall's greatness is only boosted by the bad actors surrounding him and the fact that he's carried the show for so long...Bryan Cranston is great, but I still remember him as over-the-top Hal on Malcolm in the Middle

John Noble, FRINGE, A truely prolific actor
Michael C. Hall and Timothy Olyphant are both great in their roles. Both subtly determined to be who they are - Dexter accepts his dark passenger but only kills the bad guys and Raylan isn't afraid of any of the mountain folk. Love them both! Keep them coming.
I watch Breaking Bad AND Dexter and FRINGE. While Breaking Bad is the better show, ANYONE that has seen John Noble on FRINGE would know that he runs circles around the rest of the nominees. He is truly amazing and I wish more people would see that. He truly deserves ALL THE AWARDS.
